City Rewinds

Awesome. Stopped in with a motor I needed repaired quickly. With a joke and a serious point of it could be a week or two I was phoned back 45 mins later to say it was complete. Legends. A little slow to collect their money from me but hey who’s complaining.

Really disappointed with the service I've had shown to me from City Rewinds. Before I started my search to get my motor for my band saw looked at I went onto Google to do my own research to prevent myself from being stuffed around. This place had good reviews so I decided to drop it off there. 7 weeks latter and 4 non returned phone calls, I've finally managed to make contact only to be told its not been looked at and wont be as they are to busy. So disappointed that a simple phone call to tell me that it would not be looked at when I called at the 3 week mark. I would not recommend this place if you are just a simple home handy man looking to get something fixed or even some idea of what my problem was, I did not expect any favor's just needed a reliable company to help me with my problem, they just lengthened my issue without notice. Unfortunately I had to add a star just submit this post.

My generators alternator stopped working, and I started thumbing through the yellow pages. After reading Philip Powells review, I was tempted to keep looking, but instead, took a gamble, and placed my alternator in his hands for repair. On pick up, there was no charge, as work done was minimal to get it working again. From experience, I have found contractors often do unnecessary work, or even fabricate work done to be able to inflate charges.but NOT City rewinders which tells me they have more integrity than most.

Not impressed so far. Gave them a phone call to see if they could repair my Generator and they said yes. I then took it to them based on that phone call. It has now been a month and I had to call them to see what is going on. At first the guy didn't know what I was asking about, then tells me I will have to wait as they have accepted to much work. Then he got upset when I asked for a time frame to get it back and would not give me a time frame to expect my generator back. I recommended you DO NOT USE this company.
