Columbus Coffee

Whilst looking around for a cafe we stumbled across Columbus here and had such a pleasant greeting followed by offer of menu and to choose ourselves where we'd like to sit. This was followed quickly by water and checking in if we would like to order a drink which we did and they took our food after serving our drinks. Wonderful service! My seafood chowder was delicious! Please excuse the photo my other half could not wait to try the chowder. Will be back! Thank you!

The worst experience today, I ordered Ham&Cheese toast sandwich for my son, that is not from menu, two coffee and sandwich cost $23.30, that is not main point, I was really disappointed the quality of sandwich, one piece of ham and even no cheese, do you think this sandwich is worth more than $11?

After scooting around Albany at 4.30 hoping to find a good coffee, not servo coffee I called into a closed Columbus cafe but the lady (tracey) waved me in and said she would serve me. It was the end of a long day for her but she was happy to serve me. A1 service I recon

Good location, great service, good food selection, fair value. Recommended and would happily return.

Have been here on several occasions. The food an coffee selection is very good. The seating is suitable for just two people of for a bigger group having lunch or celebrating a special occasion.

Pretty average. I just got a breakfast from the tent in Orewa. Twice the size, twice the quality for the same price.

Lovely spot that is in a fairly quiet location on a Thursday. Plenty of people coming in and dining in.

I brought my 14mo old and FOH were happy to heat up her pouch for me. I asked about keto being on the menu, and the FOH showed me all my options. One savoury and two or three desserts in the cabinet, but the main menu could be altered to fit dietary requirements.

I had the egg muffin (boiled egg, wrapped in bacon on the inside!), a side of salad and the neapolitan cake. The egg muffin was big and tasty, and cooked just right. The cake filled me up (almost too much, but I'm not complaining as I was starving) and I was happy it wasn't too sweet. The cake base was yummy!

Good variety in menu. Use your app to get points to enable you to get something free. Very nice eggs benedict.

Prompt service with a good environment. Good place for a small meeting or just a catch up.

Loved the service! The lady was so kind and accomodating to our fuzzy needs. Then came to check if we were ok and we had a lovely moment. Food was absolutely amazing coffee was perfect! I drink long black it’s people often mess it up hers was the creamiest Lb I’ve had in Auckland.
We went to the painting place and came in here afterwards, amazing! Support local and support kind and awesome businesses!

It’s terrible customer service. Lady who served for us (seems like duty manager) was extremely rude. I got disappointed and wanted to leave from the first second. She might be racist, would not recommend to go there.

Service was great and super friendly. We noticed there were keto treats and had to try them out. The cheesecake was delicious and if we liced nearby we would keep coming back. If we pass by again we WILL come here. Thanks Team

One of my new favourite local cafes for the fresh and tasty food that is served hot + friendly service. The eggs benedict, creamy mushrooms on ciabatta and corn fritter stack are all winners. Good coffee too

Nice and quiet Saturday morning. The Belgian hot chocolate was extremely delicious. I got the savory vegetarian scone purely because it caught my eye at the register and I'm so glad I did. The scone was massive, tasty, filling and great value for portion. Just under $10 in total so it made for a perfect treat. When I'm in the area, I'll definitely be crawling in here again.

The best Columbus around! A large, relaxed cafe with plenty of inside and outside spaces. A great selection of food in the cabinet, friendly service and the nicest tasting coffee!
