Cornerbar

I pass by it often, and it's busiest in the evening after work. It's a very popular bar with a great atmosphere and live music on weekends. I understand why you all stop by for a drink after work. It's located in a corner, so it's fun to view the busy city center from the open interior with the windows fully open.

Quirky little bar, looked like an inviting place to go into. Nice high stools, small tables, funky design. I imagine it's where you'd come for an after work drink. Interesting craft beers on tap. The house cocktail was not cheap @ $19, and it took about 5 minutes to make (not great if you're in a rush). Bar food was all around $18+, so no cheap food options unless you want hot chips or olives. Probably good if you're not in a rush and happy to spend $.

Casual and cosy little bar. Great spot for people watching. The mister likes it. Well priced Negronis.

Lovely intimate place to have a drink! Not too noisy so you can have a good convo without needing to yell over music and awesome service:)

Best prices in town for beer. $10. GREAT service, nice barman, cool place to sit outside. Be great place to meet after work when summer arrives. Must go again.

The bar itself was amazing. Greatest service ever, But I would not recommend it to everyone. I was asked by random guys "why are Asians here drinking? " The street is not Asian friendly I suppose.

They didn't make a fuss about my friend accidentally breaking a cocktail glass, and the cocktails were amazing!

Awesome place with windows that open out onto the street. Sit and watch the world go by. Amazing bar snacks. Great value for money! Highly recommend!

One of a few bars in Auckland I feel comfortable to stay for a while without feeling unwelcomed. Quiet and people around this area seem not that judgmental to "coloured races" drinking in a "white" place. The bartenders are super friendly.

Excellent all round. Cool place, great decor and most importantly, it has Vittorio. Go and chill!

Great little bar with a great choice of beer, and very cosy. You could fit 30 people in and they would be friends very quickly.

Super chill, great for a quiet beer at the end of the day. Staff are awesome and it just has that feel of a good local to all those who are dropping by Shortland st.

A great place to come in, have few drinks and watch the world go by and still be in the heart of the CBD. The bar manager not only provides amazing service but serves up some of the tastiest drinks around. On a nice sunny day I recommend trying a Moscow Mule and a pepperoni pizza.

One of my regular watering holes - LOVE this place and its location. Bar staff are super friendly and nibbles are pretty decent too. Any place that has my favourite gin is a favourite place of mine. I'd recommend sitting outside or at a table by the windows (it makes for good people watching and fresh air!)
