Did an excellent job on my boat. Nothing was a problem Sebastian was able to do anything form upholstery to covers even splicing ropes and refurbishing the life rings.

For many years we couldn't figure out how to keep the setting sun from shining onto our deck, and Sebastian from Cover Mania came up with the idea of putting in blinds. We did this just before the first lockdown in NZ and we couldn't be happier. Not only do they block the sun, but they work for rain and wind as well. Essentially we now have an outdoor room, where we spend most of our time. I can highly recommend Cover Mania for all your cover needs.

I left a message latish on a Friday afternoon asking if our large Eden outdoor umbrella could be repaired. Monday morning Sebastian called, the umbrella was picked up, repaired and returned the following week. Nothing was a problem and a great job was done.

Sebastian was recommended to me by Shade 7 when I was looking for someone who might clean my old and extremely dirty umbrella canvas and mend the split umbrella frame. At that point I was not holding much hope that anything could be done to extend its life. Sebastian was very positive that he could give it new life. I could not believe my eyes when he returned my umbrella to me after just a few days. It was like new. Bright spotless canvas, mended frame, new pull cords. Amazing! We asked Covermania to redo our bimini. Reaction time was excellent and a couple of days later Sebastian send a quotation and took measurements.
We ended up getting a new bimini, suncover and the cabin cushions. Everything within a couple of weeks.
The result is excellent and we are happy to choose Covermania for the job. Not only the quality of craftsmanship but also his ideas and eye for detail.
Highly recommended and always again.

The e-mail said "Cost to recover your chairs including new foam and labor would be approx. $160.00 plus GST" but the invoice said "6 Seats recovered, cover material supplied, foam additional layer plus tetron, one base plate replaced" $1,040.75. Sebastian agreed that the estimate was misleading because it did not include the word "each". He apologized for his mistake and agreed to accept 50% of the invoice value ($520) for his work. We paid because we didn't want to eat our dinner standing up for six months. The workmanship was excellent but we won't be back. $167 each to recover 6 x 380 mm by 350 mm squabs when we supplied the fabric is too expensive for us and we would never have given Covermania the work in the first place if we had known the true cost. Caveat emptor.
