Really enjoyed the food but found the lady serving people to be quite rude and snappy. Stands out so much as it's not usual for nz businesses. Not sure if she was having a bad day but did make a difference to the experience. Lived the vego sandwich!

If you are looking to hire a private space to work for a small group of people then this is the place to go. Fabulous rooms to hire up to 15 or so people. The service is amazing - they bring your orders up to the room. Food and Coffee are amazing. Big shout out to their scones - delicious.

Brought my father and kids here after Art in the Park as I was recommended it by another local and they did not disappoint. Fantastic service from the start, the friendliest servers, patient too as they were so busy, happy to make recommendations and let us take our time with the amazing menu selection and stalking the food as it came out to other tables. The plating was beautiful, portions generous and flavour combos very well considered. Loved it and the quirky decor, very understandable why the place was packed. Will definitely be back.

I wish if Crave close later than 4 pm as before, I used to come here with my friends at night! Amazing! And I am not sure if Crave serves Halal meat options?

I just loved the fungi it's been the best I have tasted in Auckland. My husband had the eggs bene and he even said that mine tasted a 10/10 compared to his and he wished he had ordered my meal. The coffee was great. The chai late was OK. Its a very busy bustling place. The staff were great.

Place was super busy when we arrived but we were seated quickly and didnt have to wait long for our delish meals. Defos recommend visiting crave for brunch!

Crazy busy cafe and luckily got a seat outside. Service was quick and service wasn’t too bad. Food and chocolate oat cookies wasn’t bad 8/10.

Maybe need a sign for customers not to walk into the kitchen area! Just a bit confusing when I walked back into restaurant, I accidentally walked into the kitchen /serving lane as it looks like a shared wide lane for customers as well. Just felt so bad when a line servers walked in and trying to serve food and out dirty dishes back.

I love the ambience, I love the deco, I love the food and I love the coffee, I also love the idea behind why the owner started this cafe.
However I wouldn’t recommend the egg benny with salmon… the puree was quite sweet whereas the salmon was very salty, the two didn’t really go well in my opinion.

Though the portion of the food seemed to be reduced in my most recent visit. I’d still visit again to support the owner and the community. Overall, great cafe and great experience.

Absolutely amazing food, fast service even when it's busy! 10/10 would recommend! Absolutely delicious and amazing coffee! Parking is a bit hectic but just look 2 seconds down the road and you will find something.

Was going to order the fungi medley as it was advertised as vegan. When I enquired while ordering it turned out to only be vegan if you removed everything but the mushrooms and replaced the hashcake with bread. Very misleading and disappointing. Ended up getting the falafel and eggplant dish made vegan, was satisfying with a decent portion. Good wait time for food considering how busy it was.

Staff always very nice, food consistently tasty (sometimes presentation varies, but still delicious), coffee is great but wish their large size were a bit bigger. Always enjoy coming here

Honestly, disappointed!

However, the service was fast, with a smile and drinks and food came out very quickly.

The meals were good, nothing special nor did it stand out from the norm you would get at any suburban cafe. I wasn't even full after finishing the meal.

What really annoyed me was the size of a Large coffee. It really was a medium.barely!

And, it was tide out!

I also have to mention the hygiene standards are questionable.

The tea pot comes sitting inside your cup.the pot has been sitting on multiple tables and countertops and pretty sure it's not washed after every use. Still it had to sit on a counter before the next order came along.

The nice little container holding all the cutlery, who knows how many hands have touched and put it back or grazed them while getting another out.

Disgusting in today's environment!

Café with very nice dish selection. Professional and fast service. Very clean and tidy. It's popular place so might be full in peak hours.

The long blonde hair lady who got a nose ring was so rude to us for reason, looked like her parents dead. Learn how to do service probably before got a job!

My egg benedict tasted like "Japanese confusion". The combination of wasabi mayonnaise, pumpkin puree and cumin was horrible. Smoothie smelled absolutely frozen. Although this place is popular and has good reviews, it doesn't live up to the hype.

Food is delicious and the coffee. No complaints. I recommend the crispy potato hash I added one to my breakfast and it was perfect!

Awesome vegetarian eggs benedict. I couldn't see the eggs benny veg options on the menu, but when asking the waiter there were three; avo, mushroom or halloumi. It was the best eggs benny we've ever had, highly recommended.
