If could I’ll give this company 0 star!

At last year's Home show, I got to know this company and decided to buy the aluminum pergola. On September 12, I paid half of the deposit ($3500), but there was no news after that. On October 6, I sent email to them and I was told that installation would only occur after paying the full price, so we paid them another $3,316 in October, for a total of $6,816. The company said that they would confirm the installation time with me on October 16, but they did not. On October 18, due to some family affairs, I informed the manager by email to arrange the installation next month. Since November 20, I contacted the manager several times but did not get any response, so I went to their show room on the afternoon of November 30. A staff member said that the installation was arranged by the manager, and she would reply back to me by tomorrow, but she did not. On December 6, I sent an email asking for a refund. At this time, the manager finally showed up and replied that there would be no refund, and the installation would be arranged before Christmas. On December 18 morning I was told they are coming for installation on that afternoon, which I thought was the end of the matter, but we were told that only the roof would be installed today when the installation person came (meaning that 3 shutter walls and free gift -grill are not be delivered), the funny thing is after 2 days there were 2 guys delivered roof again, the company totally chaotic mess. I continued to urge the goods on December 19 and sent a number of emails, but the manager never responded, On December 28, I called the company and I was told that the shutter walls would arrive on January and installation would be completed soon. On January 10, I called the company again and was told that it would arrive at the end of February, so the installation could only take place in March. Then I searched the Internet about the company's rating and found that some people's experience was exactly the same as mine. On the afternoon of January 15th, I called the company again. A woman named Kamala answered the phone and said that the next batch of goods would arrive on February 4th, but there was no guarantee that they could be installed in February. However, she asked me to give her two days and promised to reply me after communicating with the manager on Wednesday at the latest. However, she did not respond as she promised. The managers and employees of this company are all liars, so anyone who plans to buy things from this company must first read the experiences of customers cheated by them on Trustpilot.

After asking CAB for help, they advised me to go to Dispute Tribunal. NEVER BUY ANY THING FROM THIS COMPANY If YOU DO NOT WANT TO GO THROUGH THE SAME EXPERIENCE AS ME!

Terrible customer service
I have been waiting for more than a month on missing parts of patio cover. When missing post dinally been delivered only the post was delivered and no caps and screws and thus I still cannot install the post. Tried contact customer service via 4 emails and a couple of call for another month without success. Please avoid this company. Not recommend at all

Absolutely terrible customer service. Never enough staff and half of them don’t have then answer you’re looking for. Have to discuss with their manager who comes across as beyond rude!
Don’t keep their furniture in stock and have no clue on wait times. Won’t let you take the floor furniture even though their is negative stock in warehouse so no one else can buy anyway. Do not recommend!

Excellent cantilever umbrella with much higher rated wind resistance and longer colour fastness warranty than similar models. Had a small problem with order and customer service was amazing in getting it sorted.

Large showroom in the heart of Glenfield, with a fabulous new range of outdoor furniture, spa pools and pergolas. Well worth a visit. Lots of parking onsite

Terrible customer service and cheap produtcs

My roof rack started rusting after only 2 months of use, which is clearly visible on the pictures. They first offered a cheapskate $30 compensation and only after I insisted agreed to a refund ONLY AFTER I'd ship back the product. This is very difficult to take apart especially since it's so rusted, and impossible to find packaging material for because of the size of it. And they also made a point of it that if the rusty, faulty item got damaged through shipping I'd be liable. Now let that sink in for a minute.

Finally, their website reviews are highly unreliable as my honest review never got published, only the good ones.

Bought a toddler bed but it is impossible to assemble.the provided screws dont fit the holes that your meant to drill into, the nails wont screw onto the bed, the toddler ladder had holes at the wrong position. 100% waste of time and effort

Customer service is really bad and the product is even worse. Would give 0 stars if it was possible. Was forced into accepting credit instead of a refund for a faulty and quite frankly dangerous child’s bed, the second thing we bought with the credit was broken and discoloured but they wouldn’t refund as it was bought with a credit. Not going through this again. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

WHAT A BUNCH of incompetent so and so's. Bought an item and got the email yes its ready come and pick it up. 2.5 hours in auckland traffic only to be told its too high up and they cant reach it? After complaining.im told the general manager will deliver it to my house on specified day. Did it happen? NO.how many hours and false promises can a company make. HIGHLY unrecommened. I even asked the north shore branch if it was worthwhile calling ahead only be to categorically told no it will be fine. HIGHLY frustrating.time consuming and even expensive experience before i have even sighted the product purchased. SERIOUSLY AVOID.thanks.

Great space. Great range. Some good pricing.

A LITTTTLE difficult to access if yr in peak traffic and haven’t visually assessed exactly where they are.

Plenty of parking.

Certainly plenty of outdoor options.

ADDED bonus- the rug dude with his wide range of rugs in the back of the space

Ordered Kamado from LivingCulture. I am in the food business for more than 40 years so I know what I am talking about. Kamado was delivered at lightning speed. The BBQ was well packed the quality of the Kamado is absolutely great. Great service and product. Thank you

BEWARE DO NOT PURCHASE. Ordered a Treadmill from Living Culture when there was a Black Friday discount. I had asked if there would be a Boxing Day discount later on so I could purchase another day. They clarified no. I ordered the treadmill and on the day it was supposed to arrive there was no show and communication. Living culture would not answer my calls and emails. Once I finally reached them they said they couldn’t deliver the treadmill and requested meinfreight to deliver, despite not notifying me. I made it clear that I would be leaving for Xmas holidays and the order needed to be delivered immediately, and they said it could be delivered the same week. Week goes by no deliver. I requested a refund but they said that the order had already been picked up despite the tracking number not showing it. Days after I had contacted meinfreight to update the tracking number despite Living culture telling me days ago that they would do it. After the tracking number was updated living culture emailed that the order had JUST BEEN PICKED UP TODAY, so pathetic communication when I could have gotten a refund the week earlier which was denied because I was told it had already left the warehouse. On the delivery date I had made the decision to cancel my order I didn’t have more time to waste and couldn’t stand pathetic service. Now living culture will charge me for meinfreight efforts when Living culture had asked them to deliver it without notifying me when I would’ve asked for a refund after the first failed delivery attempt. Lousy that Living culture stocks a product they can’t even deliver. Still haven’t received my money back. It should be on me to pay for the fee when I had already paid for a service and delivery and they couldn’t deliver on time. Lazy business, DO NOT RECOMMEND.

After looking at numerous Pergolas we decided to purchase one from Living Culture. The product itself we found to be of superior quality to other suppliers and the customer service we received was fantastic. They explained everything in detail and have given us an estimated delivery date which in these times is not a long wait at all so really looking forward to our delivery day. We received our pergola and could not be happier. Installation was pretty straight forward. I did everything on my own apart from asking the neighbor to help me lift the 4m side screen into place. All in time for xmas

Ordered a treadmill from them last week. Was told it would arrive today between 9: 45am-11: 45am. No show. No response to my email, and after many calls finally responded around 4: 50pm. They said they would call me back once they found out what happened to my order, clearly sounded like they didn’t care. I would like to find out what happened to the treadmill I paid for. Extremely disappointed with service and would not recommend purchasing anything from here.

The guys at Living Culture are so lovely to deal with. I cancelled an order through no fault on their side and they couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. Definitely will do a purchase through them next time without hesitation.

Ordered some chicken netting as a pre order item and after 2 weeks I hadn't heard anything so called the store who said it was in a container and would be sent asap. 4 days go by and it's still not sent so a refund was agreed, after 3 days I contacted them as no refund only to find out it was still sent but to the wrong address and they wouldn't refund me till they located it. Once they found it I was told the refund would be done asap but after 3 more days I haven't seen it. Be warned guys.
