Crowne Plaza Auckland

I am past halfway into My MIQ after spending time in Sydney with my family who live there. The staff, security, police and Air Force have been so efficient in looking after us. Love this hotel! So clean, great food and wonderful staff. I hope to stay again under less difficult circumstances. Thanks sincerely from me. Your attention and service is impeccable

Your service is up-to-standard but the food is TERRIBLE! Suggested to change the food management & chef! TERRIBLE! 1 star only!

Here for MIQ, so far not impressed at all. Not really sure how its got a 4* rating. Maybe New Zealand ratings are different to the rest of the world.
Needs to be totally refurbished. The whole place just looks old and worn out. Water in shower doesn't keep constant temperature. Rooms are clean. Beds uncomfortable in my opinion, prefer a harder bed, not one you sink right into.
Food, unacceptable, I wouldn't feed it to my dog. On arrival, we were give a snack bag, smallest apple you ever did see, and some completely underbaked "thing". Raw dough is not what one would expect in a 4 star hotel. Then dinner gets delivered, once again, not suitable to feed your dog with. Raw luke warm vegetables, cold sugary sweet kumera mash? Really don't think it was. And Champagne ham, which had never seen the inside of a oven, and was slimy. Dessert, well, cream tasted sour, like it had been left out for some time. Just sent the whole lot back.
If this is how they treat MIQ guests, don't expect any return custom. Will not recommend at all. Will change review if things change, but since its been so bad so far, I'm not holding my breath.

You really want to pray you are not staying here for MIQ. The food is so bad that we have now resigned ourselves to living off uber eats.
They can't even make beans on toast and when the only thing you have to look forward to is your meals everyday its so disheartening.
The MIQ staff and housekeeping are awesome and really really friendly, however the cook needs to go back to the prison cook house where he came from and learn again because im sure you get better food in prison

I can not Praise all staff enough individually so I've come here. It's day 14 in quarantine and I would like to extend my gratitude to the various teams playing their part with all vigilence & the dedication to ensuring that we as guests are not only maintaining safety measures in quarantine but also that we feel at home, in which I did & I know for a fact quite a few other also.
Beautiful service all round with such professionalism yet humble.

Stayed here because MIQ. Food is really really bad. First meal i had came without a Drink, so i asked if thats normal and they told me that i can drink the tapwater. Today had my last meal and the piece of chicken they surved me was so nasty looking that i had to make this Rating.
If you are locked up for 14 days, then food is one highlight of the day. Not at this place.in the end i just laughed most of the time because i simply could not believe how bad it is. 2 Stars because of the bathtub.

Not your usual hotel at the moment, but a very slick operation to initiate the COVID vaccinations.

Our 14 day Quarantine was here in this Hotel. I would like to say a huge THANKYOU to the stafff! From the kitchen to the front desk, everyone was lovely & very hospitable. Rooms were great. Amazing service

My wife and I spent 14 days here during managed isolation. The room is great; the food is excellent; the staffs are very friendly and helpful!

Serving terrible quality food to quarantine guests. There are articles making it to NZHerald over how terrible they are treating their guests.

We were put into Crowne Plaza for 14days Isolation after returning home from GC. We would like to really thank all the staff- They were friendly, helpful and so efficient. Also, with the quality meals given to us as part of the isolation set up, we're very grateful. Thank you

Great service from all departments required during our stay in isolation. Much appreciation and a big thank you to all the friendly hotel staff (in particular Semisi) the medical team, defence and police force for their autonomous support & assistance during this time.

Doesn't sound like any social distancing at this hotel, why is your security allowing people into the hotel for visits when people are suppose to be in quarantine? Sounds like abit of a joke at this hotel

A huge thank you to all the staff of Crowne Plaza and the support services provided by security, health, police, defence force etc. Just about to complete 14 days iso tomorrow. High level of support, care, provision of information and hand sanitisers and asks throughout the hotel. Very professional and of an extremely high level - from day 1 to day 14. All staff have been so polite and pleasant and am glad this is the hotel where i spent iso. Thanks again Crowne Plaza and would recommend this hotel highly.

Comfortable and in a convenient location, but not what I was expecting for the price per night. Could use a significant update to the interior design. I was surprised that the bathroom did not even have an extractor fan.

As you expect your stay in a Crowne Plaza: friendly and professional staff front front office to f&b.
The reservation team is very responsive and our stay was great.
The location is great if you would like to discover downtown and go to the wharf for a walk.

Very overpriced, one staff member was speaking openly with another guest about how they had lost a lot of business recently.

Staff were friendly and very helpful, the rooms are old and dated (I had a superior King) but thankfully very large.

Food - Give it a miss, it's costly and very plain. Lots of good food places nearby.

Came here for the UFC.

Super great hotel. Paying a little more to get the club level breakfast is TOTALLY worth it. Plus the server will make you a drink if you ask nicely. I love how if you go down to the ground floor, you can go down into the shopping center. I absolutely love the Crowne Plaza hotel and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Auckland!

Good location right by the Sky Tower, very convenient to get to Queen street and the shopping stores. At the time of my visit March 6-9, there were lots of construction works around so it could be à little bit noisy during the day but evenings are quiete.
Very nice choices for lunch or diner places all around in à walking distance.
Nice and quality service at the hotel.
Had a nogociated group price of 230$NZ per night for à nice room.
