I wanted to replace the curtains which started pilling off after one and a half years from purchase. The shop assistant refused to accept my request. Manager was not available and no one was able to tell me when manager is back in the shop.
The curtains are not suitable for hanging anymore. Do not buy from them.

Terrible customer service, the staff ignored my concern of my pregnant wife reaching a blind control chain that is over 2m high (stairway window), and advised me even she could reach.not going to that Botany Down branch ever.
Also found out despite so many one star review and apology replies from curtain studio, nothing seems changed.

Incredibly impressed with this store. The staff are very knowledgeable and now with carpet court added in as well you get all your home needs in one. Fabulous store and team.

Sold faulty product that had already been returned and resealed. Refuse to refund under consumers guarantee act. Staff unable to do anything and have to wait for manager who seems to always be off work. Avoid and go elsewhere, check other 1 star reviews here - there are enough of them.

Very very poor customer service!
Staff do not pay attention at all to know how the customer can be helped. We will never visit the Botany store again as the ladies were busy gossiping/ chatting than finding out if custom needed help. Poor service.

The customer service is terrible so I strongly suggest going elsewhere (next door to the other curtain company). THEY made a mistake on my order but I had to endure a number of argumentative conversations on "the mistake was my fault and I should have checked the order. " The first set of curtains were incorrectly made with the headings falling on an exaggerated crooked angle.
After fixing their mistakes I am happy with the curtains and the price was reasonable. The two free pillows was nice but doesn't make up for the bad service and time wasted. Lauren was rude and the manager refused to return my call.
Seriously your staff need basic customer service training and no I won't be emailing marketing as clearly they haven't address the issues at this store.

PS Carpet Court owns Curtain Studio. We have just carpeted our house and ruled out using Carpet Court because of this incident.

This review is for the fantastic service I received from Jamie.

I went into the store feeling distressed as I had recently moved into a new house and needed curtains for all the rooms and living space.

I told Jamie exactly what I needed and what look I was going for. Following her advice, I walked away with double tracks, sheers and curtains.

After leaving the store that day, I felt the service Jamie provided was excellent as she listened to me carefully and made several other recommendations.

The end result is what I ad expcted, and I'm satisfied with the quality of the products. I highly recommend this store for curtains.

Absolute worst experience with curtain studio. Sent my order to the wrong store, TWICE. My design consultant clearly wrote on the order for my curtains to be sent to my local store for pickup, and sent follow up reminder emails to head office, but still these were sent to a store 30 minutes away. They would not correct this mistake and transfer my orders to my local store, and had the audacity to request further payment for shipping fees if I wished to pick up from the store I had originally agreed on.

In addition to the above, the readymade linings in my order was not provided to me on pickup. The store told me that whoever dispatched the order did not send these, so they could not provide me with the linings. Even though these were directly off the shelf items, I was not allowed to grab these due to 'internal process', which is absurd.

Repeated mistakes from curtain studio with zero acknowledgement, and no one takes responsibility. Physical stores will refuse to address any issues with your orders which go through consultants. There is an expectation that the customer should to go out of their way to fix the problems caused by their head office/dispatch staff, worst customer service ever.

Ordered a house lot of blinds/curtains for a rental property. After install found out from tenants that some were missing. No communication whatsoever from the sales consultant. Finally after another 5 weeks of frustrating emails/phone calls to head office they finally went to complete the job. They had made a mistake with the initial order and we ended up with one blind and one set of curtains in a room that was supposed to have just curtains. Finally got the missing blinds in another bedroom. Not worth the grief chasing up again. Customer service from the sales consultant/head office was seriously lacking and they were terrible to deal with. They don’t care because you pay them up front. Buyer beware!

It’s been almost 2 months and I still don’t have my curtains. The communication is terrible. I have to constantly chase them about samples, install dates - I don’t feel I’ve had very professional service. I used them 5 years ago and they were great. Hopefully the product will be of a good quality when they finally arrive.

They say that preparing the curtain in twelve working days is a big lie. They canceled their appointment many times, and at the end I wanted to cancel my order, saying that we could not return the money, and finally, after a month and a half, the curtain was installed.

Very disappointed. Ordered a whole house worth of blinds and curtains. Curtain Studio flaunt a 12 day custom order guarantee yet been advised our order won't be ready until approx 18 working days. Half expecting another update 18 working days in saying its still not ready. Really not impressed with this service at all.

The worse curtain installation service ever. Had inquired about some custom sized curtains and blinds in end of November 2020. Someone finally contacted me in December to say that they are swamp but will be in my area in 2-3 weeks. I understand that people can be busy especially around Xmas but at least leave me a message. The worse thing is that they never came after the wait and didn't even tell me they aren't coming/it was cancelled. That phone call in early Dec was the only contact that I ever got from this company. I emailed 2 more times, called a few times and now it's almost at the end of the year. Very fortunately, my neighbours were also getting blinds and curtains installed by another company and the man saw I had nothing and inquired. All completed in a few days.

The worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Had to get a blind replaced twice and I had zero communication from them and I had to chase and chase to get any action. Will never use them again!

We had our installation booked and cancelled on us 3x. Then the curtains/blinds were installed (and yes - they do smell+ of chemicals). They hadn't been measured correctly so one of the blinds was taken away again. It's been over a month, with several more cancellations yet again & poor communication around it. We were expecting them again today so working from home - And they just cancelled yet again. Not worth the hassle.

Also bought the wrong curtain hooks and when we asked to swap them were refused as it was outside the 7-day period. After spending thousands with them it seemed a bit unfair.

Our consultant Anna was lovely, organised, gave great advice & stayed in touch - Only redeeming factor.

Update: Blind was installed yesterday, so job's now complete

The ready made curtains have a realy bad chemical smell to it. Most of the sales ladies were very happy to exchange it as it was a smelly batch.had the same with another pair of drops and unfortunately we experienced bad service from a sales lady as she tried to convince that a chemical smell that burns your eyes is normal! We were told that the sun activates the smell, and we should never keep our curtains closed during the day. Common sense! Sometimes curtains are ment to block out the interesting.

Spent an hour in the store to look at tracks and curtains and identify whatever we need for a quote. The lady we spoke to was very helpful - said she would email the quote through at the end of the day. One week later, we are still waiting on a quote. We ended up just going to Harvey Furnishings who got the quote sorted on the same day so we ended up just purchasing from them.

Ordered some expensive curtains and track in Jan.

Recieved the wrong cheaper track ($80 difference), paid $75 for a measure despite "free measure and quote".

We paid for this measure and recieved curtains too short by about 4cm (linen curtains should droop to allow for shrinkage). We discussed this at length in store (and with their measurer we paid for) instead of looking custom they look like someone with trousers too short on.

They aren't hemmed correctly with a weighted hem instead of tidy finished hem so look ratty at the bottom, this was also something we discussed at length in the store.

Have emailed them as well as filled in the feedback form and have recieved no communication back at all, clearly there is no interest in making this right.

We now have $800 worth of incorrect curtains and track (for a single ranchslider for an idea of the money we spent and quality you'd expect).

I would certainly NOT recommend this company, very unprofessional in the end. A real shame we were pretty easy to deal with at our end even being flexible to try the wrong curtain rod to see if we'd be happy with it with little fanfare - maybe we should have made a big deal out of it?
