I work with many different suppliers in Auckland and this place is the best. Just ticks all the boxes of the working partner you need. Flexibility, listening to help and not to respond, welcoming atmosphere, delivery what agreed on, transparency, and some jokes on the way. I commission their services often evn if it's a bit dearer than others.

4th time our family have used Simon and his team to make great kitchens and a laundry.
Excellent materials and great choice and price. Very good prompt service. I would recommend the design software as a great way to price up work but if you are a diy family it is probably best to pay to get them to sense check it all.

Wonderful experience start to finish.

I sent an email with a design I wanted made. Shaun was awesome with help me through the process explaining the steps clearly was happy to meet and explain the materials that could be used for my design. Deliver price was a little steep but the guy was very nice so I was happy to help with moving the pieces from the van.

No job too small for these legends, I came in with a basic solid wood bench top purchased down the road at Bunnings Warehouse for a home DIY project. They were easy to deal with, the turn around was very fast, they cut it to size and I picked up the next day! Great price too which they quoted me when I phoned in. Pay online before pick up. Too easy, thank you so much for your help Simon and the team at cut shop. You’re my DIY go to!

Cut shop Mt Wellington staff were brilliant. Very friendly and helpful. They cut a kauri slab down into two pieces for me to join together as a table. They went the extra mile providing a handmade jig for me to use and biscuiting the joint so I can glue them together easily. Highly recommend this team to everyone Thank you: Mike Shaw

Amazing service and amazing people to deal with. No job is too small for these guys. One of the jobs we did with them was custom cabinets for a trailer with lots of complex angles and they nailed it. They assembled it for us too! I can highly recommend them.

We wanted to add an overflow wardrobe into a niche above a retaining wall. There are existing structural posts which had to be designed around and the installation of the units had to be sequenced in a particular way and tolerances were tight. To add more complexity, I also wanted all of the fixings hidden.
Karl worked with us to meet these requirements.

We submitted our design to Karl who then did the programming and provided us with shop drawings. Being able to review and approve shop drawings is great and offers peace of mind to someone, like me, who likes to oversee every detail.

I had initially wanted ply sheets with exposed edges for the open shelves & drawer units, but the cost was prohibitive. Simon’s suggestion of using a ply edge tape on an MDF panel was perfect and the same aesthetic was achieved but at a fraction of the cost.

Their pricing is reasonable and clear, so there are no hidden surprises.
It also made things easy that they could supply other elements - drawer runners (BLUM - with the soft close, which are fantastic), shelf pegs and hanging rails.

All of the fixings are included (Wedge Cams, dowels, screws) and it was very straightforward to put the units together.

We are in the architecture industry and have recommended CutShop to colleagues and builders.

What a great concept this is! I now run a successful Cabinetmaking business from my home office, no need for a factory or machinery, that's what these guys are for. While they are machining, i'm out getting more work. It's great to deal with experienced people who know what they are doing and nothing seems to be to hard. I can see how it would be great for the DIY handyman also, you could skip out a cabinetmaker completely, which would be a big saving. Highly recommended to all!

The people at Cutshop have just made my coaching office all the more functional and stylish. I had an idea and they made it happen. Shane had my customised bookshelf unit plotted on his CAD software in minutes. Simon helped with timber selection and advice on stain to use. Some quick e commerce and then the job was run through their super cool cutting gear. Next time I have a germ of an idea on woodwork, I know where I'll be taking it. This is the best way to create something custom made. Cutshop created 2x toddler beds for my kids, the process was simple, I sent images, they created a design and ordered the material and created the beds. The teams are fantastic and helpful. Three years ago was the last job they cut for me. They did not stick to the provided drawing with all measurements. Since then i get my stuff somewhere else to perfectly made to my requirenents. Cutshop since missed out over 80k on material costs.

We dealt with the Cutshop in conjunction with another company (Panels4U) – Simon at the Cutshop oversaw our job and was extremely helpful. Our job was completed promptly and he organized shipping to the lower South Island on our behalf. The panels supplied were a perfect fit and of a very high quality.
