Large well laid out large store with a variety of craft products you may not find at other stores. Also sell fabcy dress products and hardware. Well worth a visit

A different range of products. A vast range of party products, hardware and cotton/materials. Good pricing and helpful staff. Easy parking. Looking for something else this is a change from mainstream retail.

Amazing store. I found many things for décoration, costumes and différent sort of fabric to make dresses.

Love this place! Always the best place to get things for D. I. Y projects, theme birthdays and all sorts.

I observed a female customer today politely request a refund or store credit for a spray paint can she wanted to return (still wrapped & unused), and apparently only minutes after purchasing the product.she was refused because they have a no refund policy on spray paint! The NO refund policy is not advertised near the spray paint but apparently its on the docketreceipt - is that a stupid place to advise your paying customer there is a no refund policy on the product you just purchased - Dave?
The customer should have been advised before buying the product - "Oh by the way we MaamSir we dont refund spray paint purchases - would you still like to proceed with the Purchase? " if you're not advertising your refund policy dont tell customers after the fact!
rightly so the customer became irate but unfortunately lowered her standards to that of the customer service provided.not flash Dave - you should do better - 1 star for the customer service.

BEWARE! Make sure you read your receipts! They do not have any customer service skills, if you ask why you weren't advised the response is "you didn't ask" really!
You could have said when purchasing, sorry there is no refund on this product!
I am advised after paying for it on the receipt? Yet consumers have a right to return if you have a receipt?
The only decent person there today is the young girl with the silver star on her chin, very polite and helpful.
The other two, one being a so called manager.how rude!
Even when I said I only just bought it, her response, how do I know! I said look at the time on my receipt. She wasn't interested.
No sign on the product advising no refund, only on the receipt AFTER you have paid.it wasn't about getting a refund as a store credit would have been fine.

Good place to buy craft supplies but the staff punched wrong product which higher in price. When I communicated the mistake, there is not much help from the manager, no apologies; instead instructed me to bring back all, docket, tags and skirts where I put the zips on. Seriously? I told them the school skirts belong to a customer and I could not drive right there and then and the skirts are going to be collected. Before I could speak more she told me she there is nothing she can do over messenger or phone. I get the manager's point but her tone says it all.

Service is shocking it is as if they are un able to speak and they dont smile. Stadf on the floor are ALWAYS grouchy and you feel intimidated by them.

They have NO customer sservices skills and have NO willingness to help you.

They act like it's to much of an effort to help you.

One of the worst stores for customer service.

I was in the store today when a lady was trying to return product who wasnt told by staff that is non refundable. When she ask, when she asked you did not tell me, the cashier said you didn't ask in a very rude manner.the lady was trying to be reasonable advising she had not ling left the store, the managers response was. I don't know that, the lady said look at the receipt.
The so called manager was not interested.very poor service from those two staff members at your store in Manukau.
You have lost another customer as I wont be back either.

A dedicated customer dating back to when they were in a former site down the road under a previous name. Good place to get cheap items at for crafts and other nic-naks party supplies that sort of thing.

Amazing store, amazing customer service, the staff in this store have to put up with so much in regards to customers who don’t get their own way.
While in store today 5.3.23 a customer wanting to exchange spray paint made a big scene, I felt so sorry for the staff involved this older woman made herself noticed it was embarrassing.
I am sure this woman and her friend will be posting negative reviews for this store which is wrong just because you don’t get your own way.
Keep up the great work Davids Emporium Manukau. We will continue shopping with you for sure

The 2 reviews previous to mine are quite disingenuous I was in the shop at the time and witnessed their negative behaviour towards the staff who were just doing their job. The staff were very helpful, I shop here all the time and the return policy is quite clear on the receipt, they abused the staff with foul language, it was quite disgusting and they seemed very entitled, DAVIDS EMPORIUM YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING

Pretty much all the things I needed in one spot for art supplies but much better because of it's good low prices.

What an awesome store. You can find a wide selection of items at a very affordable price. Tools, arts and crafts, sewing stuff, materials, costumes, homeware, kids toys, etc, etc. Enough space for pushing baby in pram. Very well organised too. I especially love the selection of ribbons and buttons available here, very unique and beautiful!

Fantastic value for costumes & Accessories. Also a wide variety of Haberdashery supplies at good value prices. Definately worth visiting.

I love the wide selection of products and the low prices, if ever I need something unusual or difficult to find I'm sure to be found looking for it here

This would have to be the worst customer experience ever. I went in there with material asking for assistance on getting more of the same. I was referred from one staff to the other. The lady looking after material department basically told me she has lots of work to do and if I can find it then good. If not, come back later and she might be able to help. Not once did she even look at the material I had with me.

Also noting that the store only had 1 other customer shopping there at that time. On my exit, both the staff were having a good chat at the till.

Lots of different textured and style fabrics, costumes for kids, teens and adults, hardware and some stationery.

Has everything you need. For arts and crafts, diys, parties, material, fiy material for all sorts of things.love this place its like a treasure trove

Don't have what i needed at the time. Normally ive found them to be well stocked but they werent in a few areas.
Ended up at another place down the street and they were actually cheaper
