Dental Today Onehunga

Very surprised at how cost effective and thorough the Team at Dental today was. I highly recommend these dentists. Easy to deal with and very knowledgeable employees.

Not a fan of going to the dentist. Which is why I now have to go. But they made me feel very welcome and comfortable.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. So many canceled appointments and the dentist who originally was doing my braces had left and there’s someone new continuing with the treatments. Unable to get an appointment, so go to this dentist if you would like to have your braces on without any progress for a the whole year. I understand it’s Covid but why have so many patients then? Because it’s obvious that you cannot provide treatment for all of them.

We are very satisfied with the orthodontic tx done for my 9 year old son. Dr Amith is professional yet funny, and the staff are highly skilled and welcoming. They were accommodating to our appointment needs and communication leading up to appointments were concise. We were happy with the cost of the tx too. Thank you Dental Today!

I have been a patient at Dental Today for a few years and have required regular dental check ups, emergency dental appointments and ongoing orthodontic dental treatments. I have always been very happy with the results and treatment. Dr Johay is very skilled, he and his team are great. I highly recommend.

I was in Auckland for short vacation and of course when you don't expect to have problems with your teeth I had. My denture was broken Looking for a dentist I found a good recommendation of Dr Amit. He was very patient with me, he explained me all he has to do, He was very helpful and very gentle and I could continue my trip.

I’ve been with this clinic for several years. They provide excellent service and nice relaxing atmosphere so you don’t feel stressed at all. I’ve got couple of teeth fixed, regular hygiene done and finally having Invisaligns. Highly recommend.

Excellent service, professional and luckily for us, they made time for my year 9's painful tooth on same day; teens can be unpredictable and she really like the professionalism and she said was happy the pain is no longer! Thanks

High recommended to everyone. My son has the treatment with Dr Johay for nearly 2 years. Dr Johay, assistant and reception Raissa always provide their professional service with warm smiling. Took me a while to find a dental clinic that is willing to do adjustments for my braces which I had installed back in the Philippines. I understand that it would not always be the case but I am just so happy that Dr. Johay accepted the job. It's been 7 months since I became their patient and so far happy with the results. Looking forward to that day when I can finally have my braces off!:)

Very friendly staff especially their receptionist and the best dentist. I'm from west Auckland but choose to travel to onehanga just to see Dr johay. Hes the best orthodentist. Highly recommended.

I have found all the staff at Dental Today to be highly professional and caring. They really know what they are doing. I’ve never enjoyed going to the dentist but here I feel calm and safe. My smile is healthy and I always know what they are doing, why and how much it will cost. I am a very satisfied patient.

My previously positive experience with the lovely hygienist who took care of my teeth was shattered today by the rude, unprofessional conduct of the archaic and nasty male dentist. Never in my life have I been treated to disgustingly as a patient. After being told a filling I had was chipped I was forced to pay for an xray BEFORE he even examined my teeth only to tell me that my chipped filling was absolutely fine and to wait until the whole thing to fell out and decayed before repairing it. So why didnt he examine me before charging me for a Xrays? He spoke to me like I was dirt and wouldn’t listen to me. I now understand why so many people have taken him to court. He is rude, obnoxious and made me so uncomfortable during a time where I was already under alot of stress. I left in tears literally just ready to give up on everything. This man is a monster and treats people like absolute dirt. I now have to find a new dentist / hygienist and I have been ripped off paying $290 for a $175 appointment.
To update- after pursuing a formal complaint the dentist has replied with complete lies trying to say police were called and accusing me of having a conspiracy to damage a door, and a plant? Um no. Thats a blatant lie which would explain why no police were involved. Seriously you picked the wrong person to be using deformation on. Seriously get a life. If anyone wants to see the abuse written back to me as well as defamatory lies LET ME KNOW! Il provide everything. Before or after I take this clown to court.

I've been to DentalToday Onehunga several times now and I'm really grateful that they were recommended to me. On integrity, friendliness, helpfulness, and workmanship, they've consistently been stellar. I highly recommend them to anybody in need of dental care.

When I went and received my braces they were really nice and caring not to mention gentle. The dentists are funny and always lighten your mood if your nervous. After a while you become friends with the staff. Over all I think it's a great place and now that my teeth are nice and straight I am over the moon
