Excellent customer service finally in NZ. I purchased a tonne of stuff last year and one of the chairs at 1600 a pop stopped reclining properly. I thought to myself this is going to be a total nose bleed like every other company that takes your money and that’s it. I emailed yesterday and then got an email today saying no problem at all we will have a driver swing by on Friday to replace it. No Spanish Inquisition at all. Then I got a follow up text an hour late. I had to write this as I have said for years NZ service is just terrible. Well done team - very impressed

We have recently had some major landscaping work done at home and went looking for some outdoor furniture to complement the new backyard. The selection and quality at the Design Warehouse was great, and easy to view both online and make the final selection in person. We decided on the Amalfi Teak Daybeds and Contempo Teak Sun Loungers. The pieces are wonderful and we are looking forward to enjoying them this summer. Wish to thank Tommy the Sales Rep for his help in the shop, and a big thanks to Wez and Jake who delivered the furniture in challenging weather, gave great advice and were a pleasure to deal with.

Options, options and more options. Place is huge. Selection is huge. Pricing seems a tad on the higher side of some items, but over all worth a visit

We put a deposit down of $1700 on outdoor furniture and then followed it up with another installment $1500 deposit. Our circumstances unfortunately changed. Design Warehouse informs us that they will not refund the payments but only issue a credit note for both installments. Keeping someones installment payments for cash flow seems really unreasonable customer service. Will update with status - but you need to be careful with these sorts of actions seems quite unreasonable checking with Citizens Advice, Fair Trading Act to see if this is lawful. Filed against Design Warehouse with Claims Tribunal to seek a ruling.

This is our second Outdoor umbrella From them. The first one got destroyed in the recent cyclone. Great place to shop physically and online.

My wife has recently undergone back fusion surgery and she requires more comfortable seating to help her overcome the severe pain. Thinking my wife was happy with the seat she was trying I purchased (still to be collected) later to find out she said no it was not comfortable! I therefore went back to store within 20 minutes of purchase and after explaining situation the manager refused to give a refund as we had changed our mind and offered a credit note as a favour. A bit of kindness in today's world goes a long way but just following the letter of the law with no sympathy shows how some retailers have no care for their customers.

Appalling service! We knew the product we wanted, located it quickly on the floor and then looked for an assistant. Went through to other room and 4 staff were standing around talking. After waiting a while one guy asked if we needed help. He turned out to be a storeman so no good. The other assistant on the computer muttered something about computer problems and stayed where he was. The storeman went out to the first warehouse and located a woman at a desk. He went and spoke to her, they chattered and laughed amongst themselves for a while, she finished her coffee and eventually came over. We ended up buying the product as it was exactly what we wanted, but felt like walking out. This company spends a fortune on advertising, has great products, but what’s the point when the level of service is so bad you never want to come back?

Disappointing! Went into shop to buy a bar leaner. Nobody bothered to ask if we needed help. Went up to a staff member who coughed all over us. We asked if we could have a discount for cash she said 15% for the one she was using and 10% for others ones on the floor. Went across the road to have lunch came back nobody came to us to ask if we needed help. Went up to another staff member who said they dident offer the discount advised we had just come in and was given discount. The original staff member agreed she gave discount of 15% only for her bar leaner she was using went up to her and said that she offered 10% on other bar leaners. She agreed and I asked should we deal with her and she gave me a filthy look and said well you might as well deal with the other girl. Ask for manger who clearly was not sincere in his apology as he went back to original staff member and they were laughing at our expense. To make matters worst and to further agonise her side kick came out and stared us down then asked if we needed help clearing seeing Elisabeth charging us for item. Bad service from all except Elisabeth. Been here before and the staff couldn’t have fallen over backwards for you. Definitely a staffing shortage when this is the type of people who are in customer service.

Great customer service and product. The whole experience of buying an outdoor table from DW has been seamless. Retail staff were approachable and knowledgeable. They gave great advice and insight which helped us decide on the best table for us. Delivery was easy to arrange and when the movers arrived they were phenomenal. We have had a lot of furniture delivered to our new home recently and many movers have found the access via two flights of stairs seemingly inconvenient. Contrary, the friendly DW movers were polite and professional with great communication. They took particular care not to damage anything on route and happily removed then reinstalled the legs to make it work. Really appreciated it.

Hi , do you sell cane webbing? I refurbished furniture, and need a roll, 30 cm by 2 meters. Can be flexible ,decoratively or plastic. Thanks a lot

Best customer service! We had a concrete table from DW with a broken leg that was older but otherwise in great condition. Jamie managed to track down a spare leg in the warehouse and gave it to us for free, and now the table is as good as new!

Great selection of furniture indoor and out-door, tables seating sets, fireplaces settings, and design elements to make an impact. Great indoor easy parking too off the rear road.

Bought a teak chair with cushion, which is indoor outdoor, but I will keep it indoors as it looks great with my existing lounge decor. The only problem is that my cat has decided it's her new sleeping place.

Massive store. Huge selection of outdoor (and now some indoor) furniture. Free to browse, no sales pitch. Pricey but good quality. Italian supplier, so stuff has that European edge.

Our Design Warehouse concrete composite table broke after 5 years as we were re-positioning it on the deck. Told that our expectations of a longer life (compared to our previous 12 year old wooden one) were unrealistic; and that the table shouldn't have been moved. Words of advice = push for details of warranty & get specific care instructions - which we were never given.

Wish I could buy all our furniture from here! It's hard to choose when there is so much variety and every single piece looks amazing!
Top quality furniture, you pay for quality and design. Great staff have been super helpful and we will probably visit again soon!

Nothing was ever a problem and they were quite helpful in aiding us and showing us around when we liked something but wanted something a bit different in particular ways. Highly recommend. Lovely place. Helpful staff. Delivery team were very helpful also in getting what was quite a heavy table into place. End to end service with great follow up via phone and email.

Great range of furniture in a really massive showroom. Well worth a visit if you want great quality products and service. Big thanks to Jessica for her fantastic service.

Terrible customer service. Have been overcharged by $200 and am struggling to receive my money - has been more than a month. DO NOT SHOP HERE.
