Ding Dong Lounge reviews
28Pretty cool bar. Excellent sound system upstairs. Would be interested in booking for a private function if something comes up.
Favourite rock bar in the city, staff members are always friendly and the atmosphere is always great - always feel safe and ding Dong is always my go to when I’m in the city! Would highly recommend!
It is great to have a venue where you can hear live bands.it is very intimate and has a good vibe about it.meet interesting people and hear great music. Shame it could not a little bigger, but then our City does not allow for that expansion where it is currently based. But recommend if you are looking for something different, and want to hear music, that you may have not heard before.
Went for a comedy night where the offer was a portion of free chicken with a min 1 drink. It's a super small venue so we offered to share the other 2 seats on our table to a couple that didnt have a spot. The show started and they brought out 1 serving of chicken so we told the waitress we are actually 2 tables but sharing due to lack of space she replied pretty rudely that this is all the chicken she made and there was more pollo ️. We left shortly after considering we had bought at least 4 drinks.
First time going out on a Saturday night since the pandemic began, as well as my first time going to DingDong. It was a nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly, bathrooms were surprisingly clean, and some guy twice my age and half my height hit on me. And to top it all off, I tested positive for covid 3 days later, and considering I had never been in such close contact with other people since before the pandemic, I'm pretty certain I caught it here. So thank you Ding Dong for not only providing a good time, but getting me a week off of work.
No words cannot even convey the five star rating. Just go. Make sure Ethan is there that night. Esshay baaahhhh
A happy place for everyone.great beer and whiskey selection plus awesome sounds.seriously like an extended family.can’t recommend Ding Dong Lounge any higher.
Great music, friendly staff and weird but lovely and entertaining patrons. Well priced drinks and delicious (the best) Korean fried chicken!
A rock lovers home away from home.
Great music, awesome staff and the best people to hang out with.
Very nice place with lovely character and band. Nice music rock n roll while very chill at the same time. Absolutely lovely will definitely come back again.
It was a super cool atmosphere especially if you like rock and metal music.
The live band is saw we're super good and the staff were nice and friendly.
Really friendly staff, Tuesday comedy night was a fabulous crowd, awesome drinks and food looked great too. Music was on a playlist, but will be back on a DJ night! My new favorite place
Courteous staff. Very good music. The typical 80s and 90s popular music. Overall a nice place. When I visited the was a private party there. But I feel this place should host some really nice crowd.
Best live rock is here!
Friendly.
Gets busy making a great crowd:)

One of the best rock bars Auckland has to offer do recommend if your apart or into the rock scene.
Amazing atmosphere, great vibes. Drinks are cheap and food is super tasty! Bartender is super nice and friendly. Definitely a go to place. Will be returning again and again
Friendly staff. However beers were warm, no cold ones available, wasted $20 and walked out with the impression of it being abit of a run down dive to be honest.
Nice atmosphere good priced drinks. Busy wee place when we went. Had a good time after tool with good music and lots of people.
Typical small rock venue. Bit run down. Live music upstairs from lots of different kiwi bands. Sound quality can be rough. If you like wearing black and headbanging on sticky floors then this venue is for you!
Great range of rock n metal, cool staff that arent just there to pour your drinks and an atmosphere where anyone can fit in
