Arranged to pickup a tyre and rim advertised on trade me, give them two days notice of the time and date I would arrive, when I did arrived in person to collect they informed they had accidentally advertised the tyre with the rim, and it wasn't available.
Pity they didn't think of informing me before arrived.

Awesome fast response, by a friendly staff member who helped woth sorting out a problem I had with a part that I had ordered.

Doesn't stock parts prior to 2001 which is insane considering the amount of cars on the roads not from this century. Very friendly and helpful staff though

Annoying how they don’t sell parts that you need, when in stock they say its for insurance purposes and or they want to sell the entire thing. Takes long for them to also respond to emails (still haven’t received one back). Oh well found the part somewhere else

Great service, compared a couple of parts and sorted the best one for a reasonable price, all very quickly and during a holiday period.

Though I have bought before and sold my engine damaged car to Dodson to be wrecked. I had the opportunity to meet Saurav this time who turns out to be very friendly, professional and excellent customer service person. Well done Saurav. You definitely deserve a promotion. Many thanks

I had a bad experience with this shop. Bought a tail light and there was crack. At that time I didn’t check properly as a precaution for covid. Sales person said nothing wrong with the light at that time so I took his word. But when I checked on the next day I saw the crack and damage at the edge. They said can’t provide a replacement light. Not recommending for parts. Poor service

I had a pleasant experience and just absolutely amazing service from the team! I'm not savvy with cars but I walked in and met a fine gentleman named John. He was exceptionally helpful. He knew exactly what mirror type I needed for my car. My dreaded mirror issue was resolved within minutes. I highly recommend using Dodson Autospares.

Rude Staff. Turned up. Asked for rear screen for.honda fit. I had no reply from staff members. Because I used the wrong word. Any way Bryan was quick to mention. There are no rear screens for Honda fits? So I said Tailgate glass. And he responds. Oh Yes thats me. Anyway I have one thing to say. There are rear screens on Honda fits. It's called a Honda fit aria. Aka Honda city. Sedan. And why does it bother you so.much that I mention rear screen in stead of tailgate glass. You basically get the picture what glass im after. You people think your job is rocket science. Its car parts! Reason I go on is because the other staff member who was asking around. Just looked at me after Bryan's remark about Honda fits. And said out load.rear screen. Sarcastically.basically having a go at me. Any way. I went in happy. Came out unhappy. Nice service guys! THANKS FOR THE ATTACK!

Quite possibly the worst and most unprofessional place I have ever tried to deal with.
After locating a part on the Dodson TradeMe site, I went into the premises to enquire about it and to see if it was the correct fitting for my vehicle.

The chap who "served" me, though friendly, was the most unhelpful and condescending person I've met in a long time.
I showed him the part I was looking for (I had the TradeMe page opened on my phone). He looked at it and said "Nah, we don't bother with things like that. Too fiddly and time consuming and not worth the time or effort".
Seemed an odd response considering they had an auction running for the very part.

I decided to enquire about 'Advanced Keyless Entry Kits' from the Mazda 3 / CX-5 range and asked if they stripped and sold those parts individually or as a whole unit.
His reply "Nah". Then continued with "Look, whatever it is you're trying to do, it probably won't work. I've been in this industry a long time and nothing but heartache has come from what you're doing".
At this point I gave up and left, assuming that someone like me had no business to be there in his opinion.

My partner decided to make an enquiry on the TradeMe page to ask about the part. She received a response several days later to say the part was no longer available. A few days after that, the part was re-listed (the original auction had expired during the waiting process).

The companies website claims "If we don’t have that rare or special item you need our team will happily source it from one of national or international partners! "
If that statement is true, then obviously it is just me that they won't give the time of day to.

Couldn’t find Toyota part in Wellington region. Found Dodsons with two examples. Excellent efficient and friendly service from Emilio. Ordered the part late Tuesday morning. Emilio said delivery may take two, possibly three days. Arrived NEXT DAY, actually less than 24 hours after I ordered. Part fitted and all working. This is brilliant service. Thanks to Emilio, Dodsons and good courier service too.

These guys rock. I have been dealing with the team from Dodsons for many years now and have found them to go the extra mile for thier customers. Nothing is a problem to them, allways courteous and pleasant to talk too. Totally professional and HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

I can highly recommend Dodson Autospares. The team there has been extremely helpful. I did pick an incorrect part on their website but the when I came to pickup the part the team proactively pointed out compatibility issues with my model of car.

Tried to sell me a engine with sump pan missing at full price. Feel like a few people do their job well and a, management might want to consider y parts are removed from their motors listed as complete.and good communications to quickly refund me to find the parts I need
