Dove Hospice Shop reviews
50My go to. Always. Great prices, good sales like 3 for $10 etc.free parking lot but more at packnsave
Please Dove Hospice New Management. Be nice to your staff be kind no profanity towards your staff.as a parent and a family member of staff am apalled at the behaviour and language used today whether you and your wife are responsible for overseeing the Glen Innes branch you have no right to belittle staff and on site on posters in the workplace there is Zero tolerance to any Harassment or Aggression etc in workplace enviroment. Workers or Volunteers should be treated with respect and given positive encouragement while on the job really disappointed to hear how employees are being treated unprofessional and not a good look for the service its meant to be showing to the wider community.not acceptable
Large well laid out store. Had a variety of used/donated goods, but mainly clothing. Has several changing rooms and lots of parking. They had a deal on of 3 articles of clothing for $10, which was a bargain.
I went there to look for 80s themed clothing, but they didn't seem to have vintage clothing. Clothing is divided into women's, men's and children's and categories of clothing, but not into sizes. So that makes it difficult to find clothing in your size.
Great range of stuff at affordable prices I wish I could have stayed longer!
Will definitely be back
(Also managed to stop by the $1 clothing pop up shop they had! Quality clothes aswell)
My favorite op shop. Has lots of different options (clothes, shoes, games, books, some furniture and appliances every now and then). People working here are also lovely.
Lovely staff, lots of options for a great price and it goes to a wonderful hospice <3 thank you
This is a BIG shop.
Plenty of items to choose from.
Huge clothing range, homeware, books, furniture and so on.
As always really good prices.
The staff are lovely.
Go shopping for what you need or want and don't forget you can also donate goods to them.
My partner and I purchased a sofa here today. We let the young volunteer at the counter know what we wanted and she asked an older woman for assistance. I showed the woman the sofa we wanted and was very clearly told I better have someone to help me as they certainly wouldn't be helping. Yikes. The older woman then proceeded to talk through me like I didn't exist to the young volunteer. She then told me to pay and dismissed me as she continued talking to the volunteer. We couldn't get through the main door and had to wait for someone else to come and unlock the second door so we could get through. Not a great experience for a charity shop. I'll definitely go elsewhere in future.
I love reading, and the Dove Hospice has a large collection of books, all conveniently priced at just $3.
My 1st visit. My daughter goes each week and manages to get some good deals.
I was very pleased with my purchases. Very spacious premise. Good variety. Parking out front. Great prices. I’ll be back.
You one stop shop for a variety of stuff. From household utensils to books, from CDs and DVDs to garments. One of those bigger op shops thanks to volunteers.
Great thrift store regarding price. Found 3 pairs of levis here for $3 each. Better than paying $40 a pair at Savemart.
Great op shop with a wide range of things at decent prices. The only thing letting it down is that there always ever seems to be one person on the counted during peak times and Ive almost always been over charged here. Its a shame really because it's one of my fave op shops
So much bargains to choose from, thee Staff-members there are very friendly and very helpful-OK.:)
The clothes are cheap, but the quality is not great. A bit disappointed after being in another dove shop which presented the clothes well and the quality was good.
I normally come here every couple of months. Everytime I come in, I always walk away with a good find or even a great bargain. Guaranteed to find something for my home or kids. Never disappointed, always a joy coming here and browsing the shelves. Highly recommend:)
Will be the last time shopping here. What exactly do you mean by summer dresses coz the 2 dresses I got were summer ones and still got charged for both. I returned and inquired, but was told it has to be short-sleeved to be considered summer dresses. The first one I got was short sleeved, and the second one was long but it is thin. It's not like you can wear it in winter! I was so disappointed and they just turn you away and couldn't be bothered. In the end I did not waste my time arguing. I'll just post my review- next time be more specific with your in store specials.
Very helpful staff who will go and search for items for you. Also very easy to drop off donations, warehouse staff friendly
It was Mega! No, very happy found some great books today. They used to have a good range of older antiques and vintage stuff but don't see that anymore. I guess they might be selling that sort of thing online now but it was one of the things that brought me there so I don't drop in so often these days but still always worth a look.
Quite alot of good stuff to be had. I try and get down here at least once a month just for a look around, you just never know. The only thing I think is worthy of a mention, is that all the suit jackets and pants have been separated which makes it a real hassle to match things up.
