Just don’t go here……

Well…. Never again. Of course I can’t prove anything, but it’s all a massive coincidence……
They passed my car. Then on the way home, I notice steam from the bonnet. I pull over open it up, and it’s obvious there is a leak. I get it to my local garage in Mairangi Bay and there is a crack along the top of the radiator. It’s pretty obvious someone has tried to open the bonnet with a screw driver and smashed straight through the top of the radiator………$875…. It’s damage, not wear and tear….

Of course, I can’t prove it, but they did the wof, then 15 mins later it’s over heating? And there is a hole right behind the bonnet catch…. Never go here again…

Don’t go here…. I seriously hope this place goes bust….

Failed my WOF due to several issues, such as brake pads and tyres. Went and got them done down the road and came back two hours or so later, got it rechecked for free, and passed everything. Would definitely recommend.

I have now been for my 3rd recheck at drive saftey testing browns bay and each time I have been targeted by an employee to what seems like harsh conditions or work place bullying. 3 separate visits and 3 diffrent employees worked on my car including the one in question, i have the wof recheck sheets to prove it. For the first visit I was straight out told by the employee he was told to fail my car by lets say max is his name. My second visit was quick as max tended to my car and failed me on multiple things but failed to mention what he told his colleague to fail me for on the 3rd visit which was a dented rim, even tho the rim as have all 4 of my tires it has been balanced and fixed with a brand new tires and given the ok. After spending now $200 to get rechecked 3 times and
Now a 4th to come and over $3000 and now more to come on so called repairs max thinks my car needs, enough to tell other employees to fail my car. I won't be and advise others to not use safety drive vehicle testing as there is an employee that discriminates against customers for no apparent reason I can see.

Same old story, keep adding new failed items in the re-checks, my car had an accident 6 years ago and had been passing in the last five years in this station however this year they insist the damage should be re-fixed.

First time going to a drive in wof place, I found it quick and efficient would highly recommend to all. See you soon!

A quick place without any booking to do WOF. I go there all the time. Save time for anyone who is in rush. Be the first so no long waiting list.

Quite disappointed, and the gentlemen was really rude for no reason to be. My dads car failed due to headlight to high. Asked to explain he told me go to mechanic, not interested in my questions. 2 mechanics later could not help as nothing was wrong, went back to discuss and then strangely passed with nothing being done to the car. So my whole morning, petrol and time was a waisted, no apology. Paid for a service that was not given.

Been coming here for over 10 years! Always fantastic service even if your car fails the WOF, they will take the time to explain what's needed to be done. I personally drive 30 minutes every year to get my wof done every year at this location.

Past WOF twice and third time, today, they fail me for something that I haven't touches at all for last three years. (Headlights). They say the way I have them is illegal and they made a mistake before. Incompetent staff.

Very unprofessional service and rude. If you failed and do the recheck on the same day they will add you more information in the second check which is not possible as the first assessment needs to be completed properly.

They are nice people and they don’t really pick up on stupid stuff, clean seating area lady at the front desk is nice and helpful. But I’m not happy as i went for a re check and they start getting me on stuff that was not even on the re check! So unfair and not that professional.

So disappointing and frustrating. Failed a solid nice running car because the back seat glass window is darker than they think. How does it affect safe driving in any possible way? It is a total waste of money going there. Wl NEVER NEVER go back again.

Went here for my warrent. It's wait in line like vtnz but they don't fail u on nothing. Found one small thing wrong, fixed it up for me while I was there and drove away with a pass. Very happy. Will go again next time.

2nd time coming here. WOF $65, Recheck free. $5 off every 2nd WOF, they give you a stamp card for this. Efficient service. 5 star plus

There's No sign telling the customers that NO NEED TO LINE UP IN THE QUEUE DRIVE WAY for re-check / re-inspection!

At last they have a COF service. Always friendly and remember you. Great, efficient service and value for money.
