Duck Island Ice Cream

Over hyped and not good. A bunch of school teens running an ice cream shop. They don’t pay attention and just chat nonstop. Came for some milkshakes, the girl wasn’t paying attention and just joking about with her friends so naturally the milkshakes were trash. More milk than shake, so to speak, with a curly hair in one of them for good measure. Gutting.

Delicious and reasonably priced, my 2 year old loved the White Chocolate, Macadamia nut and raspberry (or something along those lines).

Actually really enjoyed this popular little gelateria. It's always good for someone to break the mold with more adventurous flavours. I do notice that ice-cream producers are veering towards the creamy flavours though. In my opinion making more fruit based sorbets etc would be better in auckland and offer a more healthy alternative. Surely there is more you can do and this place would be the one to do it.

With so many ice Cream option out there this place stands out with its different one of a kind flavor with reasonable price. Have seen average ice cream places lime Moven go up in price where it cost you almost $15 to get two scoop where as this place will be around $7. Service is also good.

Love a good ice cream! Duck Island is no exception. This ain't your Pokeno ice cream shop. You're certainly paying for gourmet ice cream and I loved the flavour, Fairy Bread was my fave. I would absolutely consider coming back for another scoop or two.

Hands down my favourite ice cream ever! So many amazing and creative flavours to choose from every time, often changing too. Heaps of options that are dairy free, gluten free and vegan, which is a real treat if you’ve got dietary needs. Just wish there was some indoor seating for rainy/windy days.

Fantastic ice cream every time. A flight is a great way to try a bunch of flavors all at once, and trust me you'll want to.

Peppermint slice, and cherry choc flavours were awesome. Also just really creamy ice cream as well. Would definitely recommend

Tried the Flight this time, which allowed me to taste eight different flavours. Recommend Coffee Coconut Cream, White Chocolate Macadamia Pomegranate, Milk Chocolate Fudge, Peanut Butter Cookie Dough. Not a fan of Lime Cheesecake, cuz it's too sour. Pleasant environment and nice service:)

I’ve been here a few times and it never disappoints. I’ve pretty much tried all their flavors and it’s all so yummy. Staff is always lovely. Will never be sick of this joint!

Can't beat a $6 two flavour "Single" on a sugar cone! The only bad part is that you pay and leave before you immediately release, "Oh no! I should have also bought a pint of this chocolate chip cookie dough! ". Too good. Will revisit

In store customer service is always top notch however they never reply to online queries which is frustrating.
Berry cheesecake flavour is the best. Love the sugar levels and cream consistency. Yummy!

Decent collection of icecream. Crowded most of the times. They have dairy free ice cream collection. If you want to indulge in pur chocolaty goodness then you might struggle to pick an ice cream here. But other than chocolate you can try wide range of flavors here

My partner and I went for an ice-cream this evening. Even though I have a vaccine pass I was subjected to the most embarrassing situation ever. The people before us were not asked for a vaccine pass and when there scanner did not recognise mine I was asked to adjust the brightness, zoom in more and finally I decided to give up. Upon leaving was told they only serve vaccinated people. I went up the road to Ben and Jerry's and the happily took our money. Do your self a favour and avoid these people, they are rude, have no people skills and I will never go back.
