Always a pleasure to deal with Dulux Onehunga great staff great paint. They took back all my old paint tins and did it for free. I always buy my paint there because of the service they give me. Thanks Dulux it is appreciated.

Ice cold staff (jack) with their service. Went to this store this morning buying paint and wanted color to be matched. I was told my samples are too small they can’t do it. I don’t mean to be hash on them but I went to many store non of them had told me the same. It seems to me that this store just doesn’t want to make it. Or at least being helpful. After resending another sample to them they wanted at least an hour matching the color, I know I should leave them enough time on this for better quality, but it just doesn’t feel I’m welcomed in anyway. There’s no smell no explanation not feel warm at all.

I called and booked a bucket before I came, but they actually sold it directly to others first

Went there to get some parts for my friends’ spraying machine. The Chinese man was rude and said: I am too busy. You wait ok? Waited for 3 minutes and finally get my part from the locked window. He gave me the change and went back to where he was standing directly without handing me the part over. I have to lean over to get the good on the counter on the seller’s side. By the way, I am 28 weeks pregnant.

Good service but slow service due to short staff. When you have 5 trade people waiting to get served it take a while to get back to the job

We called into this store today at approx. 9: 15 to get some advice from a Dulux front of house person, sadly that was not the case. The person working at the time new absolutely nothing about metallic/gold/stainless effectpaints and made absolutely no effort to find out about it, in fact we knew more about it than him. We also got prices (retail) on 10 & 15 litre pails of paint and questioning him further we found that we could register for an account which would give us trade/wholesale prices but we had to continuously question him. Such as you can register for an account, ' how do we do that? ' - fill in a form', where do we get the form from? , - here! We decided to go to Bunnings and question their staff and as usual they knew a lot more about the products PLUS they had all of the sample picture boards on display and pamphlets.
Very disappointing and pissed off with their staff person (Indian man) who made it rather obvious that he didn't want to work on a Saturday morning - we had travelled from Taupo to Auckland for the Home Show with hope Dulux had a stand so that was also disappointing.
