Only person in the store was disengaged and more interested in the Maori news on the tv that was blaring in the store. He didn't assist with getting products out to the car although did offer the use of the trolley. I was the only customer in the store. I took everything out to the car unloaded the trolley and was at the store door with the trolley before he could tear himself away from the TV to collect the trolley at the door. I asked if he had a paint tray set with roller and was told to go to Bunnings. I was trying to locate roller sleeves and paint brushes and wasn't offered any assistance until I started asking where I would locate the equipment I required.
I had asked for a paint to be re tinted which he explained would not work, although I could see when comparing the tints that there was just a small amount of one colour that was additional to the colour that I requested. I asked to purchase the difference in tint colours to mix it gradually myself to get the colour I wanted and was told that it was against company policy to provide tint separately and it had to be added to the paint in store. His general customer service was non existence as well as being unhelpful and disinterested in the only customer in store. I have purchased from the East Tamaki store before and would gladly make the journey to this store and spend there rather than support the Takanini store. One star is too generous for this employee.

Went there today to buy some paint for a job the new manager Irish lady Was the rudest person I have ever encountered She Accuse me Of using my account wrongly Which I wasn't She threatened me And abuse me. Watch out for this new manager not very happy will be putting a complaint into head office

New manager needs to be more familiar with the paint trade.
