Totally delicious authentic Dutch food, with the most delightful hosts. Cannot recommend enough! ️

Terrific Dutch pancakes and Indonesian foods. I love the specialty products they sell also. The people are terrific.

A place to experience authentic Dutch cuisine. The annual Sinterklaas arrival around December 5 is a treat our whole family looks forward to to commence our Christmas season.

A fantastic spot to have some dutch delicacies that makes you feel you are in the Netherlands.

The huge range of pancakes are great as well as the crocket and there is even a small shop of take home dutch treats

We try to come here at least once a year and have for the past decade. The service is always above and beyond. The staff are wonderful. The food is authentic Dutch bar food, pancakes, and more. We keep coming back and we're never disappoint.

I'm surprised to see "Anthony Hopkins" doppel working here. The food and dessert are nice. Cannot find any other original Dutch delights.

I had deep fried cheese - great! Salmon pancake - great presentation and nice Sauces too. My daughter had the fruit pancake - she was overjoyed with the chocolate, strawberry Sauces and maple syrup she could put on herself.

This restaurant was extremely filthy and the food was OK however full of suger. Staff need training

We were greeted warmly, shown to a table and given a drinks menu. Lots of delicious authentic Dutch food and drinks, plus standard food as well. We had Caribbean chicken burgers, which were outstanding and came with crispy fries, mayonnaise and salad. We drank Cassis (fizzy blackcurrant) and fristi (fruity yoghurt). Lovely atmosphere with beautiful Dutch artwork and china. The staff were so genuinely happy and friendly, it was truly a delight to be there. We were too full for dessert and want to go back to try the pancakes. Highly recommend.

We know the owners for years now such lively people, we may live an hour away but we still love to come to this place for special occasions we highly recommend this place

Willem provides an authentic and appetising Dutch experience. I ordered the large sharing platter and shared it with my flatmate. The portions were generous, fresh, well arranged and each element having it's own unique sauce to accompany. The fried selection was not oily at (air fryer?) crisp fresh hot and high quality ingredients. I ordered Mas Chocolate Cake and that was a tender taste sensation. Delicate rich divine chocolate cake. Along with a very generous and strong Special Dutch Coffee with Brandy. I have to applaud the quality care and display of skill at Dutch Delight in Birkenhead. I look forward to having a sit down experience at Willems restaurant/cafe as his pride for his craft is clear to see. His venue is perfect for small to medium gatherings in a great atmosphere. Thanks for the good food and can't wait to sample the Savoury pancakes and other fare. Cheers

The staff are amazing! The owner often came out of the kitchen to chat with the people in the café to check everything was ok! They were incredibly busy and were short staffed due to COVID but they handled it in style! Be warned, a lot of the food while incredibly yumm! Is also incredibly rich or sweet or both! I barely finished my dish and ended up helping my daughter finish her pancake as it was very sweet!

Fantastic food and very friendly and helpful service. I had the seafood pancake and it was so delicious with a lovely fresh salad. Will definately go again. Groetjes, Marjon:)

Cute restaurant with friendly staff. The food was good and it was nice to try something different. I really enjoyed the poffertjes with strawberry syrup.
It would have been nice if the staff was a bit more knowledgeable about their product though. I had asked what kind of cheese was used in the kaas soufle, and they didn't know.

So yummy fresh hot food.the pancakes come on hot plates and are just so good.the service was amazing.the waitress was juggling 15-20 ppl and managed it perfectly fine.

We decided to try something different tonight and to our surprise, we were very delighted ;)
The food was amazing and service was even better! Of all the dishes we tried, our favourite was the seafood pancake w homemade garlic sauce. Definitely coming again and we were stoked to support local.
