Embr Fires

The serviceman told us he had not seen a fireplace like ours before. He did not appear to brush the chimney at all only using a karcher vacuum cleaner. He did not do any repairs like he was authorised to by our landlord, only offering advice on how to do it ourselves.

GREAT SERVICE - I very difficult repair that should have taken 30 minutes but the technician (Ethan) persevered and five hours later all was fixed with the entire area left clean and tidy. Top marks, thank you

Efficient, on time, easily booked, good price, polite and conversational, dog friendly, shoes off (not that that was necessary), online payment after completion, inspection report and follow up text. All the things you want from a tradie. 10/10

We contacted Embr because our woodburner had broken baffle and rope that we wanted fixed. After about a month someone responded to my enquiry and eventually someone came out to service the woodburner. The serviceperson told us it was fine to keep using it for now and advised us to wait until the issues were worse to get it fixed. He cleaned the woodburner but didn't fix anything. As a result, the woodburner is less efficient and still needs repairing.

We used Embr Fires for a chimney Sweep. Excellent communication from beginning to end. We had the best Service Technician I have come across in a long time. Super polite, friendly, really clear communication around what he was doing and what he had inspected. Really pleased with the service we received. Highly recommend.

An absolute pleasure to have Arion from Embr Fires service and inspect two woodbox fires for us. He provided extremely good advice and education about how to keep our fire boxes in as good a condition as possible and key information about how to notice when there is a build-up of debris in the flue that might indicate a clean is overdue. After contacting ember fires in may for a chimney sweep and bird mesh, and again in august, and still no contact, I am seriously unimpressed with the service. Four months is not fast service or great communication.

The company was wonderful. Great reception, timely, professional, informative and honest. They gave really helpful advice without being condescending. I had trouble finding a company that would service a traditional brick fire and they were the only one that got back to me quickly and worked hard to synch up a time to visit.
