DO NOT GO HERE - Go to the waste management down the road in Rosedale this place is RIPING people off BIG TIME they are charging nearly double the rates of the waste management down the road it is actually a joke! The biggest rip off ever! DO NOT GO HERE go to the WASTE MANAGEMENT IN ROSEDALE! Would give it - 5 stars if I could cant believe how they are getting away with ripping people off this much. Such a joke. PLEASE READ THIS so u don’t get ripped off like we did!

$58 for 50 Kg of rubbish is too much. Now I understand why all the fly tipping around the shore.

Charged us $50 to dump 10 rubbish bags of ceiling insulation. Apparently this is a minimum charge despite what the pricing sign says. According to their scales this was 40kg worth of general waste. Go somewhere else 11/10 do not recommend. Absolute rip off.

1. Cardboard is no longer accepted free of charge; it is now priced the same as general waste.

2. The cardboard goes to the landfill like other waste and is not recycled. It makes me wonder why we drove here all the way.

3. The price is insane! We drive a compact SUV here to dropped off 2/3 carload of cardboard, and nothing else. We thought it would cost us about $20 at most (as last time we dropped off just a little less cardboard at a place in Devonport, and it cost us $8). Turns out we were charged over $50!

4. The staff is really friendly and helpful, though.

WARNING! On your weight in prior to dumping your rubbish - their scales show a negaive 10! Make sure to take a photo of your weight in scale like I did.

On weight in on leaving - the scales show a 0, before I drove on to it. The girl at the weigh in tried to charge me full price for two items - a small light chair and a small outside round table, despite the items coming to a less weight than the full price. I know the items I threw out are less than 10 kgs. However when I challenged her for trying to charge me full price, she charged me for the 20kg waste, which is around $34. I had to tell her that I had taken a photo of the scale figure when I weighted in of their incorrect scale, before she lowered the full price. I do not trust their weighting system!

Absolute rip offs.

There is a sign on the left showing prices for different kilos, as you wait in line to be weight. I think they charge the full price despite your weight of waste.

Checked times on website closes today at 5pm got there at
4.02pm and was told it was closed I mentioned website times and they just said other people have turned back home, so can you

They don't collect yellow rubbish bag on Penguin Drive, Murrays Bay, again again and again.

So if you don't collect the rubbish bag, why do you sell bags on supermarket?

Probably the worst waste management company in NZ. Our yellow bags are not getting collected week after week. I phoned many times and they just dont care. Terrible service.

I've been going here for years. It's the easiest and best tip I have been t. The staff are very helpful and friendly too

No bin collection in Takapuna, no refund! In almost 12 months this is the 10th time that happens. Unacceptable

Horrible smelly, dusty place but always service with a smile at the weighbridge, well laid out and good directional signage. We take our overflow garden waste to Lane 13 every other month during the summer. Its an easy transfer from car boot into the pit and a reasonable pensioner discount rate as we leave ten minutes later.

Lovely friendly woman at the gate was very helpful and pointed us in the right direction to dump cardboard for free, much better service than Waste Management where the grumpy guy at the gate wanted to charge $15 for dumping a boot load of cardboard.

Great place for All general and green rubbish dumps. It's $30 for 100kg green rubbish. More you have cheaper it would be to dump (200kg around $50-+) lot of bays with one line in and a separate line out means less wait time. If you are physically unfit staff jumps in to help. Bays are generally tidy as stand by staff always clean them.

Well organized between green and general waste, with staff on hand to advise ~ and I witnessed one kind staff member coming to the rescue of a customer to back his trailer to the loading bay! Well done.

No longer will let you dump rubbish based on weight; I wanted to get rid of approx 10-15kg general waste, wanted to charge me $33.00!

Was very rude as they do not accept cash anymore I've been going there for years no problem at all I then rang them up asked why only to get a rude reply lost a good customer off ten years will not return

I was overcharged for garden waste removal. It states on the sign out front that you can dump 2 50L bags for $14, yet when I dumped 100L I was charged $28. All because my bag was a 100L bag and not 2 50L bags I was charged more. Will not be going here again.

Easy access, nice an ckose to home.priced ok i guess as havent used any other refuse centre before so cant compare i paid $75 for around 300kgs.friendly staff.

Service wasn't super duper but it's alright. Have to wait for quite awhile as there isn't many staff on.
