Everything is great there food have a lot of options and drinks a lot of cocktails and they cannot make whatever you like and shisha also is amazing thanks escape bar nice experience

Yeah the name of this place suits its personality because you should Escape it. The treatment of my friend was just disgusting, he was overcharged and then told he did not pay. Then to top it off his burger was half made not completed and just slapped together very poor service. Management have a talk with your team please.

Came to waiheke for the day and every other place was packed out except this place.

They were out on a few menu items so limited options. Burgers were average and fries were too oily for me. Nice outside area but quite messy if staff aren’t attending to tables. Toilets smelt like piss, had no toilet paper and no handwash jus sanitizer out at the front.

Recommend it for drinks and the “vibes” in outside area but definitely not for cleanliness or food overall.

Super cozy and vibrant bar with nice staff and fantastic drinks. Highly suggest to try the "Mad Girl".

Great burger and teapot cocktails - extremely reasonably priced especially for Waiheke - a bargain! Chips were a little on the salty side - I love them like that but for most normal people might be a little salty. Friendly staff, great music, good times!

We had lunch here, the service was great. It was one guy doing everything and he managed to make us cocktails and cook delicious burgers while serving everyone else. Amazing! Check out the teapot cocktails - Delicious!

The GF fish and chips was a cut above any Ive had before. The tartare sauce was delicious, the fish fresh and moist and the coleslaw tasty. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. It was a pleasure and the view wasn't bad either

Awesome new bar on waiheke island. Probably the only bar open till late for locals and tourists on all days.great place to chill with a ocean view.
They also do shishas.

Worst meal and service I’ve ever had, amazing view but was served my meal raw, and completely wrong sauces I had asked for spilling onto half the plate (I have allergies). When I went up to tell the staff my food was raw, they gave me a “sorry. ” and blankly stared till I felt awkward enough to leave it. No refund or adequate apology was offered, (I didn’t bother asking for a new meal) truely appalled with that service.

Awesome place with a nice touch of shisha and we had finger food which was fantastic and would be my go to place on the island.

On behalf of 6 girls who came to this bar after a very bad experience at another location, it was the absolute best! The atmosphere, views and service were absolutely amazing. The manager (i'm sorry we did not get your name) was exceptional and she made us feel so welcome! Thank you so very much for welcoming us with smiles, good vibes and for letting us choose some songs to play which made our experience 10x better. We came in feeling so disappointed after the last place but we left feeling so happy! If we are ever in Waiheke again, we will definitely make sure to come back. Highly recommend this place!

The place is Amazing. Suman has been very friendly and I enjoyed my Delicious Burger from her at Escape last evening.

I went to go have some dinner at the escape bar and went to go get served and they wouldn’t expect my ID even though I am 20 years old and the staff were being really rude about it and then they kicked me out. I would not recommend this bar at all very rude and bad customer service.

The bar staff failed to save us from full on harassment from an elderly disgusting man. Sat for an hour while the bar staff humored him and didn’t help us.

Great place to enjoy a Shisha on waiheke. Great views from the deck so you can relax and take in the view while enjoying your Shisha. Staff were lovely as well.
