Love the barlady, she made a great drinks. All staff were so friendly and felt so welcome! I had a great girls night with my friend after a long time full on mom's duty. Double recommended and would love to come back!

Amazing cocktails, great atmosphere, an absolute must try in Ponsonby! The bar manager there is super nice and knowledgeable on drinks - we always get her recommendations and none have failed to date!

I visited Est. 1901 over the weekend for their event in collaboration with Everyday Wine and The Strawberry Pig. Really loved meeting the owner Eve and lapping up the last of the Sunday afternoon sunshine in a relaxed and inviting environment. Will certainly be returning for quiet drinks with friends and for pats of Ginger the resident cat.

We visited here while waiting for a table to open next door.

The service was pleasant and the cocktail very good. Reasonable prices and we would consider trying some of their food the next time we visit.

Wonderful experience here with the owner behind the bar. We watched as she made beautiful drinks (including a tasty mocktail) in the charming cozy space. Great spot to pop in before dinner or to share an intimate booth with a date!

Quaint, intimate setting that serves the most amazingly presented cocktails. We were also introduced to the local ginger cat:) service was very friendly and took the time to speak to us about our likes/dislikes.

I absolutely love this place! Beautiful food, cosy environment, amazing cocktails and friendly staff. I came along for the live music jazz night and had a blast. My table was attended to by G, who was so friendly and ensured we had the best time. He makes THE BEST cocktails! We ordered the sliders which were absolutely delish! G regularly checked in with us; we didn't have to move for anything all night. Can't recommend this place enough - easily the best cocktails in town.

I was so glad I stopped in with a friend for an impromptu visit to Est. 1901 recently. What a lovely little place! After a quick tour and us learning the history of the building, the handsome bar man crafted some amazing cocktails which we enjoyed by the fireplace. I'm looking forward to visiting again to try the rest of the menu.

Came here for a jazz night but the band was far from this genre of music. If they advertise jazz then they should deliver what they say. I can only comment on this specific night and there wasn’t a nice atmosphere at the bar.

Had a great Saturday evening here with a few friends. Awesome cocktail list that fits the turn of the century vibe, and some nice sultry live jazz. Excellent addition to the Ponsonby scene.
