意茶 ETea Bubble Tea

My favourite bubble tea shop at East Auckland. Their tea is very rich and just the right amount of sweetness.

Drinks are quite good but due to the price it isnt a place you would go very often maybe just treat yourself once and a while at teatalk would probably top it as it is around the same price and teatalk is much better in my opinion ur better of going to hulucat

Nice and clean place with friendly staffs. Drinks are outstanding. On top of it they have a dart machine in store, definitely a good place to chill out with friends. Will come more often!

Their tea is unique, and strong. The price is quite higher compared to other brands but it's worth a try. Pearls were soft, and chewy. Staff was friendly and helpful. The store is small but there are some tables to sit and enjoy the milk tea.
Will come back for sure.

Average. The taro bubble tea I bought wasn’t as strong or flavourful as other shops make it. Maybe one off? But enough to make me not return. Shop was tidy. Staff were decent. Plenty of parking in front. Convenient location.

I went there last week after visiting friends in Botany downs.
Authentic bubble tea with so many fillings to choose from, some of them I never tried before. The store is clean and tidy and presents very well. Staff are friendly and approachable, highly recommend. PS, they have delivery service too which is handy.

Purple rice yogurt drink was thick and lukewarm, on a hot summer day definitely not what I was expecting, especially after having really nice icy cold purple rice yogurts elsewhere.

The matcha latte with bubble is so gooood!
The bitterness from matcha and sweetness from the bubbles are just perfect match!

It's a nice and cosy shop. I liked the atmosphere.
It wasn't busy when we visited.
We ordered Passionfruit green tea with Mango balls and Wintermelon green tea with coconut jelly. I personally perfer the coconut jelly one. It's a little pricey I reckon.

I love this place, It’s so cozy and warm inside with good music taste. So many attractive people work there aswell, every drink is busssssin

A good amount of selection for bubble tea flavours and very affordable in terms of quality of drinks, packing and service compared to bigger bubble teas stores. Convenient parking spots.

Quite expensive for some bubble tea. Around $3-4 more expensive than other bubble tea stores. Bubble tea was okay. Bubbles were overcooked, I think- very soft rather than chewy with a bit more body. Interior is aesthetically pleasing though. Servers were okay. Not very welcoming and hospitable.

The young man at the counter is gentle and professional. You can see his passion when he putting the topping. Creative tea.

Slightly overpriced in my opinion. Some teas are also more on the bland side maybe due to less sugar? Although their cake milk tea with pearls is nice which I highly recommend you try!

Awesome customer service and delicious milk tea! The interior was extremely sanitary, comfortable and has a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

I know that it is not illegal to smoke vape inside the milk tea shop. But I think it is very inconsiderate people who vapes inside and the staff are not doing anthing about it and they allowed them to smoke vape inside amd it also looked like they are friends with the staff.

All I can say is wow. I don’t know if it was just the staff on the 8/8/2020 at around 2: 20-2: 40 that had terrible attitude. I waited around 20mins for nothing. They took my order but never made it. Around 7-8 customers got their milk tea before me and that’s when I realised something was wrong. I had to ask if my milk tea was ready and they said yes and carried on talking and when they didn’t find my milk tea they came to ask for my order. I replied with my order and they started making it then, please realise this was 20mins after I had ordered it. I really had to leave because I had a class so I asked for a refund and they said are you sure we can make it really quickly. I replied no and they took longer to refund my money. Terribly angry with no milk tea. Don’t ever go there.

Edit my review (August 2020)

After I went there every weeks for almost a year, it has changed a lot even before the lock down. The bubbles were uncooked for the last three time. Not to mention about the customer service level that has been decreased every times that we visited. Even we have lots of points left, we didn’t want to go there anymore.

Friendly staff and great Brown sugar bubble tea.

Really nice cute shop, staff are friendly, good tea but prices are a bit high compared to similar tea places.

You get alot for your money but is it worth it? The prices are very high compared to your normal bubble tea place like gong cha and chatime, there teas are very boujee nice little place and smells like brown sugar so cute!
