Give it a try. Good food and good service. It may be a few hundred metres from Orewa centre, but it's worth the walk!

Had a delicious lunch with my husband and his colleague. Friendly, informed staff. Makes for perfect main meal of the day. The tart I had for dessert was outstanding. I would definately recommend it to others.

What a lovely crew at this establishment. Attentive and very friendly to compliment the great food.

Prawns were perfect, the beef cheek succulent a full of flavour.

Partner had the duck, and her only comment aside from how good it was, was that there wasn’t enough.

I would definitely return here, and would recommend to others.

A friend took us to lunch here last Tuesday. Really enjoyed the food. Plenty of room so could hold conversation. Would return if in the area.

My second visit and I can't find fault. Hot coffee, fresh delicious pastries and friendly staff.
On a previous occasion had a girls lunch here which was also amazing.

Hubby and I had a lovely morning tea here. Our granddaughter enjoyed your beautiful ice cream. Staff helpful and very friendly.

Good pizza a bit overpriced with the post-inflation price update. However, size is good and crust tasty!
Like many other places in NZ, they say "french patisserie" (on a supposedly italian restaurant btw), but it is the european concept that is sold in here, very far from the actual thing both in elaboration and quality.

I came to get fish and chips but found the theme was now a bit classier, Italian restaurant. Not bad. They still sell ice creams from the window down the side, pretty popular on a hot day.

Highly recommend this restaurant for the service and the food. They let us stay after the official closing time for the kitchen. Such great food and what lovely staff. Really appreciate it.

Can't fault this lovely little place by the sea in Orewa. Very friendly and obliging service from all the staff. The freshly made Rhubarb Tart was delicious.

Nice place, we stopped for a coffee and a small bite, both were very nice, happy staff made for a better stop.

Went here and the food was good but omg the service was shocking. Took forever to clear our table and the table next to us had to get up and find a staff member so they could order. Their menu in the restaurant is different to online.

Keep comming back again and again, we love this Restaurant it never disappoints, took a group of 20 last week for my birthday and every single one of tgem loved the food. Its defo a must for a lovely meal, thankyou Faridas once again for an awesome dinning experience.

We went for ice cream. They mainly have tip top. Service was a bit variable, Great one day just ok the next. Good amount of outdoor seating

The kids (5&7) chose Farida’s for dinner last night as a reward. As a family, we don’t get to go out for dinner too often so it’s a bit of a novelty for us & we try to make it special for them too. Farida’s just never disappoints - the food was delicious (pizza & chicken parmigiana - plus ice cream, creme brûlée & gateau for dessert!) and the kind, considerate service was amazing too. He really took the time to listen & talk to the kids as the tiny humans they are, and allowed them space to try out their French too! Thanks Farida’s for a wonderful dinner.:)

Right by the beach this lovely Italian restaurant has everything. Lovely Italian food, freshly baked goods and a separate ice cream parlour. The cheese and tomato bread is actually a yummy pizza.

Popped in for a hot drink and a snack before lunch and had great coffee / Hot Chocolate and sweets from the cabinet their eclairs are amazing, however for those that don't want sweet treats or to order a meal from the menu it would be great to have the option of something savoury other than a plain Crossaint.

After living in Orewa for over four years, I was disappointed…
… that I hadn’t eaten at Faridas already! Great pizzas! I had the meaty carne and it was really good. Get amongst it coasties!
