Fat Puku's Smashed Burgers

Just got Uber eats and it was Eff ing delicious. Just what I wanted in a burger. Messy but delicious. Will definitely order again! Was yum!

The burgers we had were delicious! We ordered the puku buster and the Cindy Crawford with fries. The burgers were out of this world, but the fries were a bit overseasoned.

This is a fun place to simply grab a burger, no need to wade through a huge menu- even that is simple. We went on a Friday night and there was live music. Staff are super friendly and prices are very affordable.

Got the fat puku burger 11/10. Traditional smash paddies, that mince fat-meat ratio is gorgeous.

So, being a 1st time visitor to country from the States, apparently "smashed" patties is an Auckland thing! Ordered take-away online: food prep was fast & staff was awesome. Only let down was wish I had done a double patty. The single patty is super skinny, so do yourself a favor and add the second patty! Also, LOVE the deco/atmosphere of the restaurant.

Chilled out, cool place with truly excellent burgers that are amongst the best in Auckland!

I am staying across the street in a hotel for work and decided to order for pickup after an extremely long day. I was feeling sick and rundown- and these guys really helped bring some positivity back into my day.

They filled the order quickly, called to tell me it was ready and went above and beyond with my order. They were so kind when I came to pick it up - It really made my day! They even left a nice message on the bag and included something extra for me.

The burger was amazing. Just the right amount of messy and manageable. The fries are thin and delicious. It’s also affordable!

Walked past this place and it smelt amazing. I got the Fat Puku burger and was amazed. Best burger in awhile. Reccomended.

Without a doubt the best burger in Auckland. Bernie Mac + Frosted Fries is an experience. Highly Recommend!

Enjoyed the food a lot, although I found the patties were a little dry, possible cooked too much. Could probably fix by asking them to cook it less.

Ordered for uber. Just when you think Mcds fries are disgusting when they are dry and stale. Fat Puku takes nasty fries to a new level. Make sure you waste 6 bucks to throw away the most stale dry unsalted disgusting fries you can order in town. Burnie burger was v average overwhelming taste of potatoes. Not well complimented by junk fries. Just an average smashed and burnt patty def not worth $30. At beat a $14 average burger and throw away fries.

Fat Puku’s was so kind and accessible. I have just gotten an assistance dog who is in training and they were so thoughtful by asking if we needed any water etc. By far the most welcoming place I have dined at. Thank you so much Fat Puku’s for making the experience so positive!

The Burger is the real deal a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for.
This is from a guy with a decade experience making burgers. The taste doesn't get much better than this.

Food was delicious but the server said nothing and just gave us our food. Please work on customer service. A simple hello or have a nice day would be okay. But the burgers and fries were so yummy:)

Loved the smash burgers. They were delicious and juicy. They know how to do a smash burger. I’d say I have a big appetite and I definitely wasn’t full off one burger but I always am of the belief that bigger isn’t always better. Fat Puku has the fine balance of decent size with, big taste. Friendly service with delicious food and shakes I will be back.

I have never had a burger as good as this. I went halves with a mate. Burnie Mac and Chris Tucker.
Chris Tucker was the winner! The crispy outside is something I have never experienced. Amazing. Also the fries, get the Fat Puku seasoning is SWEET, and delish

Some of the best burgers Auckland has to offer. The chocolate milkshake is to die for. Don't be afraid to try the frosted fries too. Parking available in Wilson's across the road (Fat Puku is woooorth the car park fee). Awesome atmos, comfy seating. Go out and enjoy a mean smashed burger!

Burger patty burned, almost no lettuce on burger. Only thing I liked about it was the bun. Very disappointed

Well I am now a BIG Smashburgers fan. Never had one before and now I know what I was missing. They are great and so are the fries. Big surprise, well impressed!

Easily the best burgers in town! Also the hospitality is amazing. Great service. Highly recommend the fat puku burger
