Finally Books and Hospice Shop reviews
8 Great op shop with one half dedicated to Retro and Vintage, with the other half dedicated to books.
Mid to high pricing but it is a specialist op shop, and they don't often verge into unfair pricing.
Nice workers lovely setup store just a shame the prices are for stuff you can get cheaper brand new. What happened to op shops prices they no longer exsist found it very expensive
A good variety of old, classic, retro and vintage stuff in this shop! It is a bit more expensive than the other op shops but that’s because most things are higher quality stuff.
One of the best secondhand stores i've visited! Especially great for their books.heaps of tapes and CD's too, if you still listen to those.
Best Hospice shop I've been to. Birkenhead is lucky to have a second bookstore of this quality.
Cool little hospice shop with books & interesting special things that aren't often available at other hospice shops. Worth a visit
Not well set out for people with walkers etc.staff very helpful and cheerful.books selling at eight prices.
This little bookshop has gorgeous displays of books and little treasures. It feels like an antique store and bookshop rolled into one, where you can spend happy hours browsing amongst books old and new. The Hospice clothing and bric-a-brac shop is next door, so you get double the browsing value! Both times I have been there I have spent $25 and got a bag full of books. I will most certainly be back! My only wish is that they would sell some tea or coffee and provide some comfy chairs, because the atmosphere makes you want to stay longer. However, the mall is around the corner, so in minutes you can be enjoying your haul of books over a cappuccino and muffin.
