Went for a function so can't really judge the food. Atmosphere was pleasant although not opulent. Great views. Parking on hotel carparks very expensive so would recommend downtown carparks instead.

Fancy place for any celebrations. Quality customer service and attention to details beyond expectations. Was a lovely night to have dinner in this cozy restaurant. Very well pleased with cleanliness and the toilet is an old style. Wood wall panels are unique and designs. Highly recommended kudos to the team.

My husband and I went to FISH Restaurant for my birthday because it's connected to the Hilton brand, and we thought it would be a fancy place to eat. Making a reservation was easy, and the view was really nice. But after that, things went downhill. Even though the place wasn't busy, we had to wait 45 minutes just to get drinks. My husband had to go and ask the staff to serve us. We kept waiting for everything, and lunch ended up taking nearly three hours. The food was just okay, which was frustrating because we had to wait so long for it. Also, my husband's Diet Coke was only half full because they said they were making space for ice. It was a small thing, but it showed us they weren't really paying attention. Given how expensive everything was, it didn't feel like good value for the money. In the end, the restaurant didn't live up to what we expected from a Hilton place. The nice view couldn't make up for the bad service and lack of care. We won't be going back and wouldn't recommend it. If you're looking for a dining experience that's up to Hilton standards, I'd say try somewhere else.

I had high hopes for FISH Restaurant, given its association with the prestigious Hilton brand. My wife and I chose to celebrate her birthday lunch there, lured by promises of top-notch service, great food, and a stunning view. While the reservation process was smooth and the view lived up to its reputation, the experience quickly soured. Despite the restaurant not being busy, we waited an agonizing 45 minutes just to get drinks—something I had to personally request from the staff. And the delays didn't stop there; our lunch extended to nearly three hours due to the excessive wait for each course. While the food was decent, the service—or lack thereof—rendered it almost irrelevant. To add insult to injury, even a simple order like Diet Coke was delivered half full to "make room for ice, " a detail that might seem minor but significantly detracted from the overall experience. Considering the hefty bill, the value for money was severely lacking. In summary, FISH Restaurant failed to deliver on almost every front. The breathtaking view was no compensation for the glaring issues in service and attention to detail. I can't recommend this place and have no intentions of returning. If you're expecting a Hilton-level dining experience, you'll need to look elsewhere.

We had the excellent pleasure of staying at the Hilton and trying their food. The Fish restaurant was very good with their Pani Puri Kingfish as one of the star dishes we had. The service provided was also good. The next time we stay at the Hilton we will be coming back!

We booked to dine in for Christmas Eve with a full payment but cancelled our reservation within the free cancellation period and were told that a full refund would be provided. It's now April, 4 months since, and we are yet to receive our refund. They have attempted a refund once (end of Jan) but it didn't go through as our bank card has changed.

Not only am I still waiting for the refund but I have a chain of emails of where I have been passed around to 5 different people on their side yet I still need to constantly followup with them about this issue. This is frustratingly ridiculous.

Excellent service, delicious food and the perfect view. Always reliable place to visit while in Auckland.

Went with the Chefs menu and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Along with the wine matching. Highly recommend.

Food was great. 5 star. Too bad the staff isn't experienced or trained properly to measure up to the quality of food and its presentation. It truly brought down the experience, especially considering the $$$. I've been here a couple of years ago and it was stellar all the way through. Not this time!

Had amazing experience. We choose to share a variation of starters as no one could choose what they wanted. Highly recommend.

Air-conditioning and temperature regulation are not ideal in the restaurant, and the over-priced mains fall short in comparison to the excellent starters, entrées and desserts.

However, FISH provides a complete fine dining experience without being needlessly pretentious or unconventional, which ensures that all diners are comfortable. The sauces that come with all dishes are phenomenal, and balance out the flavors adeptly. The service was flawless, and the prices of our favorite starters and entrées are very fair.

Tomorrow's FISH will surely be just as spectacular.

Great view. Great fish. Nice room. Fresh faced waiters give spotty service. It's one of the nicest venues with excellent fresh fish.

$245 per person for Xmas dinner and the food was.and I rarely say this if you look at my 800+ reviews “shit”, the starters were cold, but we thought maybe the arancini and scampi tail were supposed to be, but when the lamb, which was over cooked came out on stone cold plates with vegetables that resembled something that came out the fridge, we knew it was all low quality service, the dessert was nice.spending over $1000 for three people, expected so much more, terribly disappointing, kudos however our drinks bill was refunded.

We’ve celebrate our anniversary here and it was perfect. Staff are nice and very accommodating. The food is so good and perfect.

We had better fine dining experience to be honest. The menu does showcase the high quality ingredients but could be done with more diversity flavor profile.

Visited for the buffet breakfast was a lovely location with great views. The selection was good but not large. The hot section was great but the bacon and sausages were overly dry, unnecessarily. I liked the made to order menu which had fresh eggs and we ordered an omelette which was the highlight of our breakfast, so fresh and juicy. The tea was lovely and they used T2 brand which is great. The staff are so accommodating and very attentive to guests.

The view and seating was very beautiful and service was excellent however in my opinion the food was quite plain and average. I expected more.
