Flatbush Holiday Accommodation

For being late to check-in as I had booked from an overseas app the racist hotel person named Imran made me and my family wait for an hour and let us check in after making me apologize. I had a 5 month old baby with me and my wife who barely managed to get to NZ after a 40 hour long flight with the baby. This moron has no emotion and taunted me in every single way. This is the worst experience of my life. He claims this is the culture of New Zealand. Is this how customers are treated? I didn't get the self check-in instructions as my overseas number linked with the app was used for the booking. I didn't know I was supposed to check-in before 10 but is that reason enough to harass your customers Infront of their family?

It was over half a year ago, but I used it for the night before returning to Japan. The room was clean and really comfortable. The staff are also kind.thank you very much.

Great place, comfortable, communal houses with individual rooms some are communal bathrooms very clean. Wouldn't hesitate to come back

Good for those looking for accommodation near Auckland Airport. I use a normal family house for accommodation, but since it's almost a new house, the facilities are very clean and luxurious. However, it may be inconvenient to move around for those without a car.

A real bargain! Very comfortable and stylish. The staff are friendly and the houses are stunning. Much more convenient and the usual lodge or hotel. It's in a very nice bright neighbourhood and has parking. It's secure to park our on the street because it's safe. Looking forward to having another stay. The houses are very modern.

We stayed in a self- contained unit and had instant access to the communal area, everything convenient. The unit is absolutely stunning, the decor themed, very stylish and modern. If you like style, comfort and cleanliness, then this is the place to be. Thank you FHA for a pleasant stay

Excellent accommodation, automated option for late check-in. Only down side was that i did not get the breakfast which was part of the booking.

Absolutely first class experience. Although it was out of the way, was worth the drive. Lovely area, lovely hosts, lovely and clean.

It is a really good facility with spacious rooms, kitchen and lounge area. Cleanliness, hygiene, light, air, parking space and so on are enough hence a good place to stay if you are okay to travel a bit far away from the city centre.

My friend and I had a lovely 2 nights here. The late check-in process was simple, the facilities full of natual light, and clean. There is a full kitchen available to cook in, it's basically a functioning home where you pay to have your own room with ensuite and share the common living areas with other travellers. The area is dense with residential housing with no obvious shops nearby, however only a few minutes drive to find takeaway food, or you can order through uber etc. Not being close to any retailers was actually a blessing, giving us a reason to just relax in our room in between our scheduled activities. Easy drive to the airport and the traffic was not too heavy. Also, there is bushy areas at both ends of the street and the native wildlife sang an absolutely glorious sympony of tweets and whistles which really makes you feel like you aren't in a big city at all!
Overall i really enjoyed my stay and am excited to return some time in the future with my little family to check out some of the other available rooms.

Too far from Auckland. Located in a new overly crowded subdivision with no access to anything. Without a car, you're lost. It's located in a home and has misleading photos and descriptions. On the phone a very professional sounding "very busy" attendant, makes it seem like you're accessing a bustling hotel. In fact it's just a ruse. The "scam" was so appaent that my taxi driver took photos of the place and promised to sent them to me for my records. If you're a local NZ resident and want isolation, in a B&B and have your own transportation, you might find this waaay out of the way "no place" in a crowded heavily traveled residential neighborhood a perfect get-away. For anyone else, I say it's an absolute "stay away". My taxi fare was more than double the price to stay there. I was so distressed that I refused to stay and returned to Auckland with an amazed and apologetic taxi driver. All travel advisory sites should remove this travesty from their lists immediately. This is the one and only incident in my, so far, three week tour of New Zealand that has left me with a negative taste in my mouth.but then again, these folks were not native Kiwi's.
I have to choose a star rating but this deserves a no star rating.

I went for a 3 hour cleaning trial for a housekeeping job and told l was going to get paid for it. 3 weeks later after sending multiple messages and phone calls to the person hiring housekeepers ignored my messages and put me through voice mail still not wanting to pay me for my cleaning trial!

We spent two nights and we had such a great time. It was all very clean, and super cozy! It really felt like a home. Guest kitchen with everything we needed to make dinner. Even though basically all the rooms were booked both nights, we had no issues with noise from other rooms. The body wash smelled amazing, and the coffee was really good. The directors were so kind and helpful. We have nothing but good things to say, and would love to stay here again!

Modern accommodation, spacious rooms, common areas are serviced daily, very nice and presentable,
I rekon an electric dryer would be a perfect match for the washing machine. I will stay again next time, cheers

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star! When we arrived there was a dirty towel in our room. We told the cleaner about it and she did nothing until my husband mentioned it again the next day. The kitchen down stairs was full of dirty dishes and random washing towel etc. We were not aware we had to pay for new towels so I guess we were lucky the gave us a.new set We checked in the didn't even confirm all our information or payment and asked for the details again. They act like its a privilege to stay at their weird accommodation but honestly I think it would be better post operation to stay somewhere comfy and clean that's close to Omission Hospital.
Really weird environment. Was unhappy that the hospital recommended this place.
Beds were sorft NOT good for recovery.
One of the nights the Indian guys were having an intense conversation with an European man it felt tense.
Overall I would not recommend this place. Its disgusting! Customer service is disgusting! I accidently left a face wash in the bath room which we called about three time. They advised the cleaner threw it in the rubbish as they felt it was empty
The face wash costed more than their budget shampoos and conditioner.

They also advised if any lost property is left there the cleaners may claim it or dispose it without contact.

Its a lesson for me. And first time I have experienced this type of customer service. Will never go back. And also let the hospital know of this shocking behavior!

I was always going to give you 1 start whether I got my facewash back or not. If it was returned you may have got 2 stars. The stay was just not what I expected. I would have definitely paid more for comfort and cleanliness considering I was recommended the place from the hospital. As for the face wash it should have been a choice. Not one you guys made for me. That maybe how you guys would like to view it or state it in your policy however during our stay that was definitely not true. And I would have made these comments regardless. Its honestly not the best place to recover after having major surgery and the hospital has also said they have had co.plaints as well. Its just not a good place for recovery at all. And I regretted the booking as soon as we checked in

Immaculately clean and well appointed accommodation. Staff very responsive and helpful, owner even kindly drove ahead of my elderly parents to direct them to their apartment complex and show them how to access their suite. Highly recommended.

Hard to find, very noisy from people upstairs and beds are too short if you are tall, friendly service and fair price.
