Fruit World reviews
15I was a regular client of that place but recently. I saw too many dishonest things like buying avocado bulk in t bag but having to throw them away because they are completely rotten. It happened twice to me. No, greengrocers should NOT sell you rotten vegetable, it is NOT sale optimisation, it is rip off.answer: negative reviews are NOT slanders. Your reaction makes it worse for yourself and show very little concern toward giving good service to your customers.
Best place to go for to get all your veggies. The management and staff are always available to help and to make sure that you get what you want at the very best price and quality goods. Providing quality customer service and best products is their priority. Keep up the good work that you are doing.
Always shop at Fruitworld for fresh fruit and veggies, rather than at the supermarket just over the road. Fresher and most often cheaper.
First two times their online orders were good but this time very disappointing quality. Below what just got delivered.
Ordered on Saturday and got my online order today. Really happy with the quality of the produce. Everything was very fresh. Thanks Fruit World!
Placed an online order recently in Level 4 and it took 2 days to arrive which I was really happy with! They were out doing deliveries at 8pm on a Saturday even!
The quality was fantastic, all the produce was super fresh and I highly recommend them!
Keep up the great work!
I used their online ordering and delivery service and highly recommend it if you require a service like this. The produce was fresh, it was delivered promptly and the courier driver actually followed my delivery instructions! Will definitely use them again.:)
Consistently great quality and selection of produce plus a great range of dry goods and Asian grocery staples
Tricky price tags. Be careful. They are more expensive than the super markets. I was buying grapes. It was written 10 dollars per kg alllll grapes but when I was paying at counter, they told me its 12 dollars because the weight is more than 1 kg. That's really tricky and cunning as you might pay for these expensive grapes since you are already there. Was don't just go to the supermarket next to it. In the next super market, the same grapes were only for 8 dollars for a kg.
Another example of their tricks is the price of strawberries The pack of strawberries have less weight than the usual 250 gas so it seems to you that they are cheaper. In fact they are not
Be careful of their tricks. Better try the next super market which is just 50 meters away from these tricksters
You go to these places hoping for a significant improvement on supermarkets, namely Countdown which dominates this part of Auckland. Probably a little more variety of fruit, but no cheaper.
The local fresh fruit and vege place. Range and standard of produce is good and prices are better than the supermarket acrross the road. (most of the time)
Excellent fruit and vege shop with a really good range including some dry goods, juices and dairy products. Produce is always fresh and lasts heaps longer than the stuff bought at the supermarket.
Good range of fruit and veges with the occasional bargain box of aging fruit suitable for smoothies etc. Friendly staff.
Good quality produce but pricey. $4.99 for a single broccoli when Countdown had two for $4.00. Sure, it was a special but the price of the other produce was comparable to the supermarket.
Good variety of fruit and vegetables from NZ and imported. Price is good and often you have the choice between different varieties of the same product.
