Is this company still open? Being trying to contact them for 2 months. Waiting on an extension of our canopy that should have been completed in February

Firstly, the overall install was very good however, their after sales service is extremely poor. I developed several cracks in my polycarbonate sheeting. Trying to get hold of anyone is a pain, I was asked to provide photos, when I sent it to them I had no response. It was eventually replaced and it suffered even more cracks. I am now trying to get hold of them since December, it’s entering March. Absolutely pathetic service.

Terrible service. Installed wrong colour roof sheets and downpipes not installed correctly. Causing a puddle in the middle of my paving area. Have rung and discussed many times but no one is bothering to fix this error. Looks like I m stuck with the wrong colour polycarbonate sheets which I definitely did not ask for and very sketchy installation. They promised to come and have a look twice but just didn’t show up and have no care about their reputation. Completely avoid this company. They haven’t even bothered to call me to rebook another visit. Just completely ignoring the problem.

I called them to book a visit to our house for measurement and quotation. They scheduled one Friday but didn’t come because of drizzling rain. They rescheduled next day this time it’s sunny, again didn’t show up, didn’t call, or anything. I think they are not serious about their business and don’t care about customers. So… it’s 0 star for me. Will look for other providers.

Patch Job leaks

The place where it is leaking is a patch job, it was installed incorrectly, it was measured incorrectly. I demand for that shade to be rebuilt according to the correct measurements - I told this to Nibun after installation but he made excuses!

Very poor service
Once they receive full payment they don’t care. I give zero stars rating.
They never fix any issues.

Had a canopy installed from them more than a year and a half ago. Everytime it rained, the side wall (where they had taped) starts leaking. I called them last year in August mentioning that I want someone to come over and have a look at this and get this sorted. I was told that due to shortage of staff, it might take some time. In May 2022, I received a call from one of their executive saying that he would like to come in immediately to have a look. It was told to him that he could arrange to come in for some other day as nobody was home. After that, havent heard back from them. I called them again in July 2022 and spoke to a receptionist and complained about this. However, she promised me that she would get someone to call me ASAP but have been waiting since then. Have tried calling them multiple times but no answer. It was my biggest mistake to have recommended them to my friends but would never ever recommend them to anyone further.

Galaxy built us a carport here in Christchurch. The carport is a beauty. Compared to a similar carport made by another company it was considerably cheaper. All communication with them has been efficient and friendly. The team who built it were really good guys. Excellent

I had the team at galaxy home decor install a Canopy on my deck 2 years ago. Was really happy with it. Yesterday I had them back again to install drop down blinds. On both occasions they were professional and friendly. Nibun spent the whole day working on them. They are a great company for affordable canopies and blinds. I'm over the moon with their workmanship. It can take a bit to get them on site as they are very busy but throughout their communication was good. And they really did deliver my dream. Thanks again team

Product is ok, query reply and order update is poor.the plan I approved was different from what the installer understood. If I had not insisted with the original plan, they would have installed the wrong one. Overall, it was not a smooth experience, but happy with the finish product.

We paid a deposit in October and are still waiting today 23rd January to get out pergola installed. Now wishing we had gone with another company who guarentee there time-line and deliver

Fantastic team, highly experienced and committed. Very happy with the canopy done on my back yard. Highly recommended. Thanks to Nibun and his team for regular and timely communication regarding shipment delays due to Covid. Well done guys.

Would not recommend to any one. When they want the job they give sweet talks. I have been calling these guys to fix the issue at my place which they have done.
Everytime I call them, they say we will be coming but they have never shown up.
I have regretted to use these guys.

The guys in New Plymouth came and installed our verandah canopy this week. Very satisfied. Good product, great team of three installers, very professional.

Nothing wrong with the kit supplied from the manufacturer, but the installation, communication, quality of work and care taken with the finish was very poor.

What an awesome company to deal with. Highly recommend good quality of workmanship and customer service. Good as gold.

Looks alright from the bottom but upon closer inspection you will find screws sticking out and jagged bits of polycarbonate. They also didn't finish the plumbing and left bits of piping for us to do ourselves.

Amazing Service. Such a professional team. Got the quote done at an amazingly competitive price. My Job was done way before time. Amazing quality of Carport. Must recommend. I wish i could put more than 5 stars.
