68Gorgeous food.refined combinations of delicious and authentic flavours. Loved the mezze size that allows you to try so many different dishes, none disappointed. Service was friendly. Will definitely come back!
What a fantastic restaurant! The food was excellent, by far one of the best menus I‘ve ever tasted. We had the Jeeb 3 course menu for 70 $ p.p. And it was more than enough delicious food for the two of us. The texture and flavors they mix are just perfect (the creamy hummus with the crunchy chickpeas). The staff was really friendly. It was a bit noisy the evening we went, because of a nearby shop.
Great, friendly service. Best cocktails you’ll ever try - highly recommend the Naara off their menu! Food is fantastic.
One of the best restaurants in Auckland Delicious Middle Eastern food, great vibes and lovely service. Love sharing a good meal with friends. We had a bit of everything, mostly the aubergine dishes, hummus, bread, the potatoes, cauliflower (one of my favourites) and market fish. And we finished with a couple of desserts: the truffles and the orange pastry (which I really recommend). Looking forward to going back!
I've been here about 4 times now and every single time, the food and service has been faultless.
Thursday night is a busy night for this place but we were seated without any issues. Service was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when we had one member of our table having specific dietary requirements. The food was amazing. The standout dishes were the pide, lamb shoulder, mixed grill and the smoky eggplant. The menu has changed every time I've been and it's great to see them innovating their dishes but keeping up the same quality and flavour. Well done.
OMG OMG OMG. How friggen cool is this place. I ate so much I needed to change my belt setting and every dish was stunning. How can anyone elevate hummus or falafel or slow cooked lamb or chicken on a skewer but OMG, these guys have taken all that and taken it to the next level of fine dining wrapped in a K'Road chill buzz. Can't believe I've waited so long to try this place.
My goodness, I cannot speak highly enough of this place. The food is delish, great flavour and well presented. We had a number of food restrictions and they solved it all seamlessly. Service wonderful, friendly but not weirdly intense. Most impressively, when I went to pay with wirk card it declined. Then my card was faulty, however, they were wonderful and we hobbled together a solution that didn't involve me washing dishes! They did this with a smile and never made me feel judged for situation.
Best middle eastern restaurant in the country and my personal favourite in Auckland.will be back time and time again!
We had the jeeb. Some of the courses was amazing! I think we would opt from r.kezze next time as we enjoyed the 1st course the most
Excellent service, stun-ning fare and quirky atmosphere. Highly recommend this spot on K Road, overlooking Myers Park.
Beautiful Middle Eastern fare, you must get the minimum 12 hour slow cooked lamb shoulder. Just divine. Drinks and food and service are just amazing
We emailed them and got a reservation at the last minute on a Friday. I felt very lucky since it was great. The jeeb menu is more than enough to feel full and it's well worth of the money. Service is superb.
Each dish we had was really tasty and the service was very good.
We did wonder about cost vs size; but quality sort of overrode that consideration.
Absolutely amazing food! We had jeeb (feed me) chefs choice. The food was outstanding! Everything was cooked perfectly and flavours were perfect! Thank you for looking after us and letting us try so many yummy things!
So good! Best falafel in Auckland for sure. Everything here is delicious. Make sure to save room for dessert as well! Also the staff are always incredibly lovely and attentive. They said they were short staffed tonight but there's no way you would be able to tell from how good the service was.
Only real downside is that it gets really loud, especially on the weekends. Not ideal if you don't have the best hearing.
Otherwise 11/10 always
Food was delicious but small for cost. Service great but it was far too loud through out. The doof doof from the club in the arcade spoiled any chance of dinner conversation
I've been here for dinner years ago but this occasion was the first time I tried the Jeeb menu ($65.00 per head). The dishes on offer were fantastic in flavour - was drooling over the rice that came with the lamb (I actually had day dreams about it - SO delicious). I wasn't that impressed with dessert and there wasn't enough Lebanese bread in my opinion. I think the experience of a Lebanese hot beverage with dessert would have been ideal. Staff could be more friendly but perhaps this was because they were busy. I'll be going back regardless because the food is worth going back for!
Noticed that the dessert has improved from my last dining experience and our waitress was nice. Unfortunately, the lamb wasn't available on the evening we dined which was very disappointing.
As it was a couple of years ago (sorry it took so long to come back) a perfect experience of an amazing cuisine. We enjoyed the 4 course Jeeb on 16092022. Perfect food, service and ambiance. Only one note: Not sure if it is only us, but the noise in the (fantastic) open space is very distracting. As a comm interior designer, I would recommend to apply some decorative acoustic baffles in synergy with the interior of the restaurant. There are numerous ways to reduce the acoustic noise in attractive way, sympathetic to the existing interior. The food and service would even be more heavenly than it already is!) thank you for a (nother) great experience! Frank.
Delicious food from the mezze menu. The only reason this doesn’t get five stars is that the wine menu is rather over priced and the setting is too noisy. Tables are in an open arcade with zero acoustics.
One of the best meals I have ever had. We took the fixed Vegan menu, and every single dish was lovely. Lebanese and Mediterranean food have so much to offer when it comes to Vegan food and the chef delivered so many dishes, it was yummy.
