Use to come here a lot. Love this place visited recently but the food menu has changed no more bang bang chicken or chicken 65 which is a bummer. But great cocktail bar on Kroard must visit.

One of the best bars we have been to in Auckland! The drinks (especially Mezcal) are perfect and packed with flavour. The service and staff are incredible. This will be a regular spot:) Cheers!

Service was outstanding, the staff were picture of calm among the buzz, and they clearly loved what they do. The setting was intimate and quirky and welcoming. And their cocktails… amazing flavours infused with chillies grown by one the staff… and we knew because he cared to tell us! Amazing experience, we’ll definitely be back ️

My favourite cocktail bar in Auckland. It has a fun atmosphere, great chatty staff who love their job and is a place to either start your night, end your night or spend your night. Will be back (obviously)

The rudest bar tender I’ve experienced in a long time. I simply asked what the espresso martini was if they didn’t have a coffee machine (to make an espresso, duh) he then raced acrossed the bar and furiously grabbed a menu to only return and scribble out the espresso and write “not espresso” in a rather frantic passive aggressive manor.

I consider myself a fair person so I have not awarded them 1 Star, I’ve given them 3 on account of the fact the bar is in an excellent location, has a nice feel (in an area where bars can be pretty seedy) and the drinks (the other drinks) were well made.

Unfortunately customer service is key with hospitality, it’s part of your job to be friendly so if you’re not doing that, you’re not doing your job properly so minus 2 stars. ; (

Love the bar. Very passioned bartender with a lot of knowledge on how to create a perfect cocktail. Drinks menu is changing according to the season of the year. If you cannot find a cocktail of your taste don’t worry just tell the bartender what you like and he will create a cocktail gor you - so far we were never disappointed. If you aren’t a big fan of cocktails I am pretty sure you will find something of you taste as the bar has some gems in their selection.

It is quite cozy at the bar. There not plenty of seats option, seats are along the bar and few table along the wall and in front if the main window. But we usually had no problems to find a seat for 4-6 people.

I went exploring along Krd just before Christmas and found this little GEM.
They had a cocktail competition going and it was full to the brim. The cocktails were devine and Pierre-Jouet champers was $100? I have died an gone to heaven. I'll definitely be back

Absolutely amazing service. The Painkiller is awesome. If you can't find something you like, ask the barman. Will definitely be back
