Certain workers from a country think the money is falling out of the single mums pockets and that you can just upgrade and go thru thousands of dollars while they offer you a pittance to trade in what they said is worth thousands suddenly it's only worth a tiny amount the greed shows

I brought a sauber from Onehunga Godfrey's after a lot of slick lines from the man on the counterwho convinced me I could return it if I changed my mind, I took it back and was told that wasn't the case I would have to exchange it for something else, so I unhappily kept it because I had nothing written to back up what he said then it broke down and before the warranty was up so I took it in to Sylvia waited a long time got no return calls then when I finally rang must've been about five months they said it was fixed it went for about five minutes after I got it home and then it did the same thing said overheating again I was too busy to take it back again for a while when I got to take it back they said it was past the warranty now so it would cost $250 approx dollars I said no way so the guy pressured me to buy the newest most expensive vacuum called a vorwerk which I did at the same time for my mum I bought it and so I came back to get my sauber eventually after a long time and said I shouldn't have to pay for the above reasons and the other reason was the seller offered me a trade in and I said no cos it was too low but any who he coerced me into buying the vorwerk said that he would order me a five hundred dollars window cleaner machine as a perk of the sale anyway I never got it and when I asked when it was coming in he said they no longer have them so I had Enuf I said what? That should be covered by the costs of my sauber properly repaired any way to top it off guess what? They couldn't even find my sauber machine it's just gone I got nothing for it

I would like to share my disappointing experience with Godfreys regarding the purchase of a Tineco Carpet One Pro on Boxing Day 2022, which cost me $1049. Unfortunately, this product has proven to be incredibly unreliable as it doesn't even spray water properly, rendering it useless for cleaning dirty carpets. To make matters worse, it break down not just once, but twice in 4months.

When I reached out to Godfreys for assistance, their response was baffling. They claimed that I need to keep the suction head clean to prevent the sprayer from getting clogged. Frankly, I find it absurd that I purchased a carpet cleaner that cannot effectively clean carpets without constant maintenance. It defeats the purpose entirely.

What disappoints me further is their poor customer service. They refuse to offer a refund or repair the product, leaving me with no other option than to escalate the matter to the dispute tribunal. This lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction is truly disheartening.

I strongly advise potential buyers to exercise caution when considering purchases from Godfreys. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend them due to their subpar product quality, unhelpful customer service, and refusal to address legitimate concerns.

Love, love, love Godfreys, Sylvia Park (dealt with Megan primarily)! Thank you for your thoughtful, caring and customer focused service recently when I brought in my Hoover stick vacuum cleaner for service. I purchased my Hoover from Godfreys about 10 years ago. I have to say that it is my FAVOURITE vacuum cleaner (I also purchased a Wertheim and Sauber from Godfreys), and quite possibly, the best small appliance I have ever purchased. Even though it was well outside its warranty, Godfreys offered (on a goodwill basis) to service it on a parts-only basis, which meant that the cost of labour was free. My Hoover stick vacuum cleaner now works like a dream and I am able to whizz around my home and collect all the little dust bunnies and bits and pieces and in a trice! Happiest customer ever!

The person behind the counter was rude. I refuse to be spoken to like I'm a 2 year old - "You were told. ", especially when it was a suggestion I had made, which my 70 year old brain forgot until I'd actually arrived at the store.
I will not be using this store again.

Horrible experience with Godreys Silvia Park during vacuum cleaner servicing:

Being a very loyal customre for 10 long years, I had a very unpleasant experience with Godreys Silvia Park while getting my vacuum cleaner serviced. Firstly, it took them a long time to respond to my request and get back to me. When I finally dropped off my machine, they were unable to give me any timeline on when it would be ready.

After several days, I called them to follow up and was told that my vacuum cleaner had been misplaced. This was extremely frustrating and concerning as it was a valuable item that I needed for my home. When I went to pick it up, they handed me someone else's machine, and it was not until later that they called after 2 weeks accusing me of stealing the vacuum cleaner from the store, there is no respect for the customer

The entire experience was highly unprofessional and showed a complete lack of concern for customer service. I would not recommend Godreys Silvia Park to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient service provider for their vacuum cleaners.

I went to the Sylvia Park Godfreys to pick up my Vacuum. The Electrolux Silent Performer which is insanely good! Suction great, long cord and light weight. I was served by Kamaldeep. He was very helpful and friendly, will definitely buy again from this branch

Went to the Sylvia park store asking for a mini gulper and a vacuum stick. The lady at the counter proceeded to ask what vaccuum cleaner it was for. I told her I just needed the gulper as I already knew which gulper matches the vacuum I have. She still insisted on asking which vacuum cleaner I had, as if I was dumb and didn't know which gulper I needed (I am a cleaning franchise owner). After trying to search for the gulper, saying it showed that they had three in the system, she stopped searching and proceeded to serve the next customer. I said out loud, have you not found it yet? She looked confused, so I left angrily. To think my husband came back the next day and got the exact thing I needed from the same lady, made me even more angry. Reason being, it could have saved him a trip if I had gotten the gulper on the day I had visited the store. Very disappointed at the customer service here, so slack

Godfreys we have sent you 1 email and been to the store twice to enquire about a new hose for our Sauber Intelligence SI-200. You always say you will get back to us and you never do! Poor service, your response to customers needs vast improvement. We will shop somewhere else.

I am very disappointed with the customer service of Godfreys. I bought a Hoover vaccum from this store and I was never happy with it. I took it back after using it twice after couple of weeks and I was turned down pretty bad not to get a exchange or refund. I had a receipt too. I am frustrated that I still have to pay off the big amount through finance and me and my flatmates can't make any good use of the faulty vaccum I was sold. I bought a Hoover carpet shampooer at the same time too and that does an alright job so I won't return that. But atleast if I can get some help with this vaccum that would be good? A $50 kmart vaccum does a better job!

I ordered a vacuum cleaner from the Godfreys Website, to be delivered. The key reason went online, was to have the product delivered. A week later nothing had shown up. I spoke to "customer Services" who 3 days later informed me that the delivery was at the NZ Post Shop and I would have to go and pick it up. This was not the service I purchased, as I am not able to get to the Post Shop! The Godfreys "Customer Service" response was a fairly off hand "can't do anything about it", I was asked if I wanted to cancel the order, which I did. Apparently, they can arrange to have the goods returned to them but not delivered to the correct delivery address! A Complete waste of time! Now I await for the refund of the purchase price, waiting waiting! Not recommended!
