Been buying my vacuums here for a few years now always good service. Today one of the friendly guys helped me with unplugging my vacuum luckily it didn't have to be taken away for service. Thanks so much you're life saver.

I have brought four machines from here, one of which was a carpet cleaning machine currently sold down from 299 to 179, machine was in for repairs and never fixed properly, other machines they didn't want to know about when the stopped working months latter, also rude staff, would not recommend buying from them very disappointing, & they do not care,

Went here today to buy some new vacuum bags took the old one as an example, guy told me the were out of stock so I asked if he could order me some in, then he asked if I brought the vacuum here, which to me has nothing to do with my question & replied no I didn’t. Then was told he wouldn’t be able to help me.
I have brought things over the years from this company but definitely won’t be doing any business in the near future.

This is a dumb business, I went to the store to get a pack of Sauber bags, being that you cannot enter, I asked at the entrance for the pack the attendant grabbed the bags and went to the till came back and asked for my card which I provided, at that point I assumed he was swiping my card and then would bring the mobile terminal over, he then advised that he could not bring the mobile terminal over, he then said give me your pin number and I will pop it in for you which I refused, I said that you are no different to any others business like a supermarket so I am bemused as to why he could not bring the terminal over, and if as a business you are parinod wipe there terminal after use now they are worried about handing out a terminal to customers should I be worried he took my card without wearing any gloves if you are so concerned about transmission have a think about how bad your policy is.sorry won't be coming back.

A very large speciality Vacuum cleaner store which lives up to its expectations.
We bought a premium vacuum cleaner from here and a steam mop on a special price.
We used the steam mop once and found it was not suitable for our floors.
We visited back to return it and got hassle free refund. Felt really grateful.

The vacuum cleaner is working great as expected.

Brought a $900 vacuum. 18 months later it stopped working so took it back in under 2 year warrenty. 4 weeks later I hadn't heard from them so called to see what's happening and all they could tell me was It's been sent off to be fixed. I asked for a loan vacuum as 4 weeks without a vacuum and a dog in the house just isn't ideal and they told me they we will call me when they have a loan vacuum ready. It's now been 6 weeks and still don't have my vacuum back nor a loan vacuum and I still haven't heard from them. I'd never buy from here again nor would I recommend to anyone else.

Vacuum cleaner was missing 3 screws that the manufacturer should have supplied. Godfrey's got replacements to me immediately. Vacuum cleaner seems excellent.

Received excellent customer service from this branch. Staff also great. I will certainly be doing business with them. Can teach their Albany branch a thing or two on customer service. Well done

Unfortunately I have had very poor after sales
Service after purchasing an expensive German vacuum cleaner from here. It has broken down in three different ways since our purchase. On the third occasion we asked for a Replacement or refund. They refused point blank and insisted on trying to repair it a third time. Sales staff could not speak in English very at all, were unsympathetic and could not write in English

Terrible service - first time the vacuum cleaner ($800 pp) broke after 6 month of use. Repaired on warranty. It broke again after just over 1.5 years and warranty expired. The shop refuses to fix at their cost and repair price is over $200.
Don’t recommend the place and don’t buy the brand Hoover:)

Great service. We want to buy a carpet cleaner and needed it that day. The model we selected was out of stock but they had one waiting for a customer that was to collect in one hour. The only other one left in Auckland was in Botany so he suggested for us to take the one he had and he would drive to Botany and get the other one for the customer in an hour.

The guys were very professional and polite. I went for the bags and ended up buying a new Vacuum cleaner. Tried yesterday and loving the new machine. Will definitely go back to get more stuff for my cleaning company!

Vacuum cleaner needed to be repaired & when it came back it was back without the hose, so after a month waiting still couldn’t be used. Still without a vacuum. They also tried to charge for me ‘fixing it’, when the vacuum was under warranty. No apologies at all - terrible service. The sales people barely speak English.

Terrible service. I wouldn't advise to visit Godfreys for any important questions, or to rely on them to have anything you need in stock.

5 month to track down and deliver a vacuum lead for thier main range says it all, do not use this store.

Went to buy a vacuum cleaner worth $199. Sales person was initially no where to see (one employee). Turns out he was doing stock take at the back room! And when he did approach he was only interested in selling me a $400 vacuum cleaner. No personal questions asked, didn't ask what I needed for. When I asked about $199 product he criticized it (then why do you sell it!) poor sales skills and just plain greedy. Just went straight for a higher price tag! As guessed I went straight out and bought through Harvey Normans across the road

Need to lay of the pushy selling. I knew what I wanted, but got told otherwise and pressured to buy over priced vacuum $500 more then what I was willing to spend & that I didn't need!

Very disappointed with the service provided to me. No reliable. False promise were made by sales person.

Pretty good range but the sales person was more interested in making a sale than helping us choose the right vac. Even tried to make us buy a second vacuum! Beware of the hungry sales people when going here.
