Gong Cha Botany

Was served by a young lady at 7: 20pm. She was swearing a lot in conversation with her coworker. Dead pan expression, horrible to think this would be my workers at my business.

Drinks were aight, customer service was doo doo, Sarah needs to smile and show more enthusiasm when serving customers. Her service makes me feel unwelcomed, she is constantly in a moody/unhappy tone. Whoever was at the back decided it was funny to blast the music to max and gave me a fright. I wont be coming back:)

I agree with the reviews. This GONGCHA needs to improve the quality of their drinks, customer service, and to remain as consistent as possible.

I am rating this GONGCHA 3 stars as I had a ok experience today but I truely believe the people are right on here.

Decent sized space and it’s Gongcha. It does tend to get busy during afternoon leading to long wait times but vibes are good.

Amazing place! I come here all the time. Drinks are great and the staff are nice.
Got served by Melinda and she was friendly and gave great service!

I had a terrible experience today ordering a mango green tea at around 5pm. This young worker, called i luv my bf#mky was throwing my elo with her bad tasting drinks. Then when i was picking up my order, she had the audacity to spit in my drink while being on the phone with some boy called MICKEY. Like what kind of micky mouse name is that. Gg go next never coming to this gong cha joint again. So dissapointed.

I always come here to get my favorite Dirtea it was so good and I really like it. Staff was nice and friendly, Service is fast and the ambience perfect! Overall experience it was excellent

Usually quick and quiet, weekend sometimes crazy. Always good bubble tea.edit: all the staff are nice expect sarah who hates all the customers.take more days off sarah, this is not a slay.

Its another gongcha, what more can I say. If you like bubble tea, then you'll probably like it. Not the best in terms of atmosphere, but it's manageable.

Pretty good service, quality drinks. Cashier lady Cynthia was super nice and friendly, deserves 5 stars if she didn’t have a boyfriend >: (

I don't usually splash out on fancy drinks but decided to try one a few weeks ago, got a honeydew smoothie to share with my 2 year old since neither of us can have caffeine. Asked the lady if they have ones without caffeine, she answered me like I'm kinda dumb because most of them have tea, only not all tea has caffeine heh. We really liked the smoothie, was just what I felt like. Went back again for the same drink only I felt quite sick afterward and had to go home and rest. Was not a great day. Seeing by another review mentioning a cockroach was found in their drink I think I'll avoid this place in future. Not worth it. A shame though because the drink was nice, just not the best service or cleanliness. Appears otherwise however as the store itself is very tidy and organised. A shame really.

Fast, friendly service. I got the brown sugar milk tea with pearls - 30 sugar and full ice. I want this everyday

First time buying from the Botany store. Very chaotic system in place for ordering and picking up order. It was a hot day and yet they hadn't opened their
windows/doors, and so I ended up sweating as I waited. Service was so so.

Seems that something goes wrong every time we visit this store. From getting cold drinks when weve ordered hot ones, not having the order number called out, to general poor customer service and long wait times. Staff does not say thank you/have a good day

Accidentally bought 16 drinks online on October 2nd at around 12pm but the workers were really apologetic and understanding and fast with the drinks even though it was my own fault. If the workers see this I'm so sorry for giving you so much work in a short time and I'm really thankful for you being so kind! Again I'm so sorry ;;;;

My daily visit just to get the best “DIRTEA FRESH MILK BLACK TEA” best part is it comes with peals with milk foam and Oreo powder on top yummyy

I always order the QQ passion fruit green tea (hot version, no sugar), from Gong Cha stores for over 5 years. Am normally a big fan of their drinks. But this time, when I ordered from the Botany store, the drink was way too sour, the temperature was only lukewarm, and I could feel the sourness burning through my teeth. There was no taste of green tea in the drink at all. It was completely different from what I’ve tasted before. I politely explained this to the lady behind the counter - she just told me to go see a dentist and refused to refund or do a replacement. When I asked to speak to the manager she claimed she was the manager, and she could not make my drink any hotter or less sour because she said she was “following SOPs” on how to make the drink. This is the most terrible customer service I have ever experienced in over 20 years in NZ. Will not be returning to this store again.

Asked for no ice in my drinks but put ice in them: (I asked her why there’s ice and she just shakes the bottles at the front my face to dissolve the ice into the drink. It’s in the receipt, at least show that you’re sorry about it.

The best drink place ever, the only thing I don't like is some of the drinks have set sugar levels.
