Gorgeous New York Pizza Bar

The whole restaurant has personality. The pizza was superb and the salad was crispy fresh and tasty. The service was friendly and very engaging. I look going back for the poetry evening.

Loved our experience here. Their pizza is amazing, the prawn pizza is the best I’ve ever had. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Environment is amazing. Would highly recommend

Amazing kai! Pizza was great and the peking duck one was fab (I'm chinese so you know I know my food! Especially that). Half and half is great combo as the peking duck can be rich/'jelak' after a while

Food was great! Absolutely devoured the pizza there. Owner was really nice, he was the only one working the shift as they were low on staff but he killed it (especially as I dined with a group of 8, + other customers dined in). Would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Oh man. This pizza was soooo good. The minute we walked in the door I could tell it was going to be good, because when we were tossing up between small or large the chef said "get a large, it's pizza! " And you could tell he had love for the food he creates. And man these pizzas were made with love.

The ingredients were all properly placed and spaced out so every piece had a bit of everything, every bite had maximum flavour. The tomato paste on the base was rich and full of flavour so even the bites of the crust with the last bits of sauce were delicious.

Pictures speak a thousand words and these pics say it all. Lives up to its name - just gorgeous pizza. Easy 5/5 can't wait to go back.

Love this spot! The pizza here is up there with the best you’ll find in the city. They’ve also done a great job with the fit-out giving it a bit of a New York dive bar feel. One bite, everyone knows the rules…

Well, really tasty pizza was the story here. We had a group of 4 that had a couple of 'sophia' and 'kate' pizzas. All of them were delicious.

The restaurant itself wasn't very clean at all, and we had to wait for our table to be cleaned and it got cleared but never wiped. It was also felt a bit of a stretch being charged $5 for a can of sprite.

BUT like a lot of hospitality, we guessed they were understaffed. So all just minor grizzles really.

The pizza was the focal point and it was fantastic and the staff we saw were friendly. Definitely worth a go. We will return.

Kai is delicious! Such a cool spot, I’ll refuse any pizza unless it’s from gorgeous, have probably eaten my own body weight in the Lucy pizza

Small pizza boutique, with outstanding, tasty pizza. I went before a billy joel concert at Eden Park. This place was a very short 7 minute walk to the venue. Although they were very full and we hadn't booked, they managed to squeeze us in. Lovely, friendly staff too.

BEST pizza for a very long time. Easy when you come here and get the perfect base, deliciously fresh margarita sauce with quality and fresh toppings. A great place to go with friendly service. 'Gorgeous' definately- but good luck if you can find pizza this good in New York. (We also tried the arancini pesto squares which you should know will haunt you until you can get back for more. Incredible pesto.) Thanks for a great night!

Took some friends here for dinner, we all loved it! So good we came back for takeout the next day:)

Personable and delicious! Wayne and his team were accommodating throughout our meal. We loved the Arancini Squares with homemade pesto, could have easily eaten more of those. We went for a half and half, the Eva and Scarlett, both very tasty and moreish. Fresh ingredients. The restaurant itself had plenty of interesting features like a 6 year old candle wax dripping from the wall and many images dotted around. Will be back and I would rate this over Sal's anyday. Shame I didn't get any photos of the food, as I woofed it down in hunger.

Absolutely one of the best pizza places in Auckland. Every pizza we tried tasted amazing! Especially the Scarlett and Kate. Will definitely return, great service too

This is the only pizza I want to eat from now on! Perfect ingredients to every different pizza on offer. Add that to the poetry evening once a month paying homage to dominion road and extremely talented people. This is a must

Absolutely love this place. Wayne is such a great host, always makes you feel welcome. The arincini is always perfect, the pizzas are great, and the cheesecake is divine.

Everything is homemade, you can't go wrong!
