So pleased to be back and eating yum cha at Grand Harbour again. Tasty dumplings, bbq pork/duck, fried rice, to just name a few. Definitely worth a visit

As usual a very good place for a large group.
We have been going to Grand Harbour as a family for over 10 years.
My only criticism would be that there staff do sometimes forget to fill tea pots.
But definitely excellent value and a fun experience.

Yum cha at Grand Harbour is a Auckland tradition for many and it didn't disappoint when we went for lunch. Lots of choices and great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Great place for Yum Cha. Was introduced to this place by a work colleague. Love the variety of food. Chicken wings are a must try.

Great dimsum place. They have a lot of varieties of dimsum and taste wise, simply authentic dimsum. The restaurant is very spacious for family functioning. And they give you free parking to the Maritime parking lot if you eat there. It is quite pricey, but if you wanna have good dimsum, it is one of the places to go.

Classic Auckland Chinese restaurant, best with a group as portions are large at dinner and massive variety for yum cha lunch.

Good environment but the yumcha was average. Unfriendly staff with bad service, asked three stuff to get a glass of wine and it was watered down!

Wow, yum char, what a choice, what more can I say. Staff are amazing and work hard with a smile.

We've been to Grand Harbour many times. However this is going to be the last! During our meal today, we found there are three magget in our tea (See the picture). I reported this to the manager on duty and she didn't own up to their hygiene issue and simply said this is a supplier issue and they will report it to their tea supply. I'm shocked she didn't even give us an apology! Whether it's a supply issue or not, we ate at your restaurant and we did not order tea with magget inside! And this is not even a cheap restaurant! Take some responsibility!

Great food, vibrant atmosphere.
Food was quick and tasty. Some staff pushy with there food selection trolleys. Have to say no like 3 times. A tad pricey but all round 4/5 for me. Week days better then weekend. Weekends way too busy and food not consistent coming out to tables. Kind of makes you lose appetite when waiting.

Nice food and atmosphere. However, the table service was poor and very slow which impacted on the free parking incurring extra charges. Paying the bill was also made difficult due to their system.

Came here a few times and it’s probably the top dim sum places in Auckland CBD! Big fancy venue and great tasting food. The only down side is that some staffs don’t tell you what’s in the trolley, they expect you to know or just for time convenience hence don’t tell you.

Average food and customer service. Quite a few smaller places around Auckland that are much better.

Worst yum cha I've ever had. Cold rubbery food. Rude staff. Asked three times over 30 minutes for 2 dishes and they never arrived. The guy with the cart ran over my friends toes and didnt even apologize. Will never go back

Service was poor, wasn't even busy. Staff speaks chinese. Not much options and mostly desert. Was starving while waiting. Been here 30years. Quality has dropped alot.

The reason we went there is rather than going to our regular restaurant, just have a scene change but I don't know why they need to put us at the back of restaurant when they have room available at the middle of the restaurant. I feel it is a bit basic on the food. To our surprise too, Pork Siu Mai is the special category for this restaurant. It is like they have brought from a packet of those instant Siu Mai from the supermarket.

The staff use the back of the restaurant as a gossip and yelling at each others too which a little unprofessional.

Also they have a website and advertise the menu and pricing, thinking the pricing is all right, but surprisely without our knowledge again they have increase the price of dim sum type prices and also Chinese tea per person.

The positive thing is, they give us 3 hours if you qualified their spending and we can have a walk at the Viduct Harbour like we always do on a weekly basis.

Great, authentic HK dim sum! Food was served hot and fresh. Best time to visit is weekend despite big crowd. Weekdays will see smaller crowd but not so warm dim sum. Also tried many Cantonese dishes, they are authentic and msg free. Higher price than other places but very well worth it!

Food was really good but service is too rushing and bad. The staff didn’t explain much about food, and expected we to understand Chinese which we couldn’t. Price were more expensive than what they posted on their website. We didn’t order tea, but they still brought it to us and charged us at the end. I think it’s hard to take only good food to compensate for whole
bad experience we had today.
