18I think one off these days is going to be like, park the kar and go bake to the time before the kar, walk to where you need to go. It is insain wat we are paying
I liked that it is always kept tidy and the system itself for refilling is simple and practical. The bonus is their free vacuum! That's handy! Thank you! Lol.
Nicely located Gull, extensive roofed area, and can turn right from here even in heavy traffic by going left and around the round about.
Always look for a cheap fuel on the run during this pandemic and rising cost of living. Gull is known for good grade fuel and cheaper than others which is a plus point.
Their 95 octane terminal didn't work, due to some mechanical error.
Best price nearest to me. It is not crowdy unless it's peak hours. I see that there's only one side by side pump for 95. I hope they will add more in the future.
Friendly staff and were probably very busy being smack bang in the middle of summer holidays. They're in the right place for good business with plenty of traffic flow over this summer period.
Has great prices for gas.
Getting gas in Auckland can get very expensive at times, but this particular place sometimes have significantly lower rates - so if you can, just check as often as you can. During these times, there's SOMETIMES long cues (usually at night), but if you're willing to wait a bit you can save quite a bit money (I can usually save around $10 - $20).
*Side note: If you are getting gas a night, you can only pay with card since nobody will be in the shop*
Staff in charge of directing vehicles during relatively busy periods should use good judgement in managing how customers find their way into vehicle-less pumps.
If a road user is clearly aware and skilled enough to maneuver their vehicle in an empty pump with haste, then it is safe to assume that they are also considerate enough of other customers to not obstruct their visit, with the caveat that the other customers also use their good judgement in assessing the situation instead of having staff egg the other customers on because they were flustered by the summer heat and the unexpected.
An unapologetic one-star rating for this station is deserved. An absolute shame given that Gull as a national corporation is a reflection of the New Zealand way.
If you're into self service Gull have the best prices in Auckland. Just look out for EFTPOS gift card skimmers.
A small business compared with the likes of caltex, mobil & Z. But all 3 big boys are forced to follow gull's lead in giving the ordinary joes like me a break with discount days.
Plenty of space, undercover, and no traffic congestion or temptation to buy chocolate.
Self pay system works well and you can put your card in again after filling to get a receipt if you want.
Compressed air on site too if tyres need a puff.
Have not tried it, but for the caffeine addicts the adjacent fishing shop sells coffee.
Toilets across the road at the sports grounds.
Filled up Gull Force Pro And Gull Force 10, no attendant, just all self service. Much Easier! Thanks
E85 saving the planet now. All the other gas stations need to catch up. The government needs to reduce the tax on E85 now by 85% of the tax of petrol
I buy here because of price and convenience and i can pay at the pump instead of waiting in line somewhere else. Their 91 unleaded is better quality than the other gas stations sell. The 91 octane petrol contains no ethanol and is less than 50 parts per million of sulphur – which makes it the cleanest-burning grade of petrol available.
Consistently the best petrol station because of its low price in the bay area and self-service nature. Very available, well-lit and simple. During the day time, the fishing and tackle shop is open for business. No air pump though.
It's an automated self-service station and the petrol is usually discounted lower than other stations to encourage more customers.
Best price on shore today $1.71.per litre. Gull had a staff member on site today. Very helpful.
