Gull reviews
29 A regulation gull self service fuel station.
The location is easy to take a quick exit and refuel.
The prices are always competitive and often the cheapest in the area.
A little wider overhead cover can be really helpful and convenient in bad weather days.
Nevertheless, overall it is a smooth experience always.
Well recommended.
Hadving attendants today worked a treat managing the queues of traffic waiting to get 25c litre petrol discount.
All the pumps are pre-paid through the machines at the front of the pumps. You pick the pump your at and go through with the instructions. The fuel here is generally on the cheaper side particularly if they have a special going on. Access is through Captain Springs Road or Nielsen Street since it is on that corner.
Great petrol station. No frills, easy in and out, pre-pay, fill up, off you go. Competitive prices.
Typical self-service fuel station. Easy access from 2 roads. Handy location. Competitive prices.
I often seem to mess up the order of card payment and petrol order and need to ask for help. My fault. Love the prices.
Cheaper fuel prices as usually with Gull. The speciality or what makes this station distinguished from other Gull stations is the fact that this 24x7 station offers 95 petrol. I have been to many Gull stations all over NZ, mostly in south island and some towns in north island. Usually, they offer only 91,98 and Diesel. This is the only Gull station I have visited which offers 95 petrol too. The location is not that convenient as it sits right at a junction controlled by traffic lights. But if you could turn from the main road in to the fuel station, that is a convenient and spacious enough setting. So, it is just a matter of getting there. I did not notice a tyre fill.
Good prices, sometimes hard to get out of the station unless you are turning into the same flow of traffic on the road.
Usually the best fuel prices in Auckland, plus they stock ethanol-free 95 (instead of just the E10 98 like most Gulls)
Good price but had issues with the EFTPOS machines only station 1 accepted my card 2 and 3 didn't work
Great place to get petrol, prices are good. It is self service, the only downside was that one of the payment systems wasn't working which confused some people and created delays for them. The answer for this is to have a sign telling people what to do if this happens.
Cheaper price compared to the region. The card readers have problem, I tried 3 card readers for paying.
I look forward to their specials every week Thursday. Always much cheaper than their competitors hands down
Cnr of Neilson & Captain Springs Rd is one of the most competitive Petrol Stations in Onehunga. Generally a good 10cents less than others, and tho self service, access from either or Captain Springs/Neilson is available. Eftpos terminals have just been upgraded (accepts only 'cards with chip') and it is my go to place and preference.
Cheapest fuel station for 95. I will definitely be filling up here everytime! Thanks for good prices.
SELF SERVICE PETROL DEPOT, MOST TIMES ITS VERY SMOOTH RUNNING, BESIDES WHEN THEY HAVE A MONTHLY DISCOUNT DAY THAT IS WHEN IT GETS THE QUEUES, BUT THEY DO HAVE A ATTENDANT TO HELP DURING THE DAY.
I HAVE BEEN COMING TO MY LOCAL GULL FOR NEARLY 3 YEARS NOW, FIND IT VERY EFFICIENT FOR MY PERSONAL VEHICLE NEEDS.
Convenient, these self service stations need to have covering over the cars or at least over you when you are fueling up
Great unmanned site, lots of pumps well spaced out and hardly ever see any broken down. Easy to get in and out and of course prices are the best for the area. Today i paid under $2 p/l for 98 ive never paid that for 98.
Great self service station.can get a truck in there, has e85 for the race car and it’s a clean tidy court. I often see someone gets sent there from Gull to clean and wipe down the machines.also when they have big discounted prices they post a person there in the court to help and assist the public.
The conveniently located petrol station that offers probably the cheapest price for petrol. There is no counter or shop at the station. Everything has to be self-serviced, but the pumps are pretty very easy to use. The only disadvantage here is there is no roof, so you will get wet during a rainy day.
