Highly recommend.
Really good pizza and you can watch it cook in the pizza oven.
Had the Diavolina pizza……. Sooooooooo good!
They also import Italian beer. It felt like I was back in a quaint Italian restaurant in the Amalfi Coast.

Who was the guy working the floor last night? After a confusing mishap with our booking and my party being deeply apologetic we were berated and treated so rudely, I’ve never been yelled at by someone in a restaurant in my life, it was a mortifying experience not only for myself and my group but the other diners aswell, they looked horrified.

This is a spot that I cannot help but keep going back to. Perfect for an intimate date night to a family celebration. Warm cozy atmosphere inside and they offer blankets for outside for those cold days. The food is to die for! I’ve tried many pizzas, pastas and desserts at this restaurant and I cannot fault any of the meals. The serving sizes are generous, tastes delicious and reasonably priced. The service is warm and attentive. Bonus: you can sit close to the pizza oven and can see them making pizza which adds a special touch.

Food was awesome, we had antipasto platter, pizza and lasagne, staff and chef very friendly.

Some food was fantastic others not so good. Waiting time was absolutely shocking. Some service was good some not

Gusto Italiano is our “go to” place! Armando is exceptional, the food great and service spot on!

In Auckland for the weekend and walked up from town and rocked in without a reservation. Even though they were busy and had more reservations, they found us a table and provided the highlight of our weekend. From the delicious pizza, to the young male waiter finding the secret stash of Monteiths Black, the meal was both delicious and memorable. We were encouraged to stay for a dessert and the profiteroles were divine. Excellent value all around. Thanks very much to the team at Gusto Italiano!

Lovely food here, very authentic and delicious, hand made pasta was absolutely divine, I had the fettuccine Alfredo and I loved it, portion was a bit small but the flavour made up for it

We had a team lunch today and it was great! The fettuccine pasta was so tasty and with good quantity.

Great wood fired pizzas, Average Bruschetta but mains were very good. Not very fancy Italian but you will be satisfied with their quality of food.

Absolutely delicious! The perfect cheese to crust ratio, lovely wood fired flavour and super flavoursome tomato I was obsessed with the cheese as it had the perfect amount of saltiness and savoury flavour. The vegetables were a nice accompaniment and I appreciate that they were still crisp and tasty. They also had delicious flavour. So yummy overall - thank you!

Food portions and price not worth it group I was with disappointed. Order was wrong for one of my friends and was told that was what he order which was not. The 5 friends I was with and myself will not be coming back again thanks.

I took my family for my daughter's birthday and it was fantastic! The atmosphere is good and the service is great! And the food is absolutely divine!

Food was great although the sauce was a bit too salty, the portion of food given was enough for more than one person. Pizza was well priced and delicious.
