Visited G. B again for some product to paint a stone veneer wall, and needed the paint to be matched to a sample of the stone that I showed Peter.

I didn't know what paint I needed to do the job, and after explaining the problem Peter detailed the product I needed.

He then tinted and mixed the paint so well that it was almost impossible to decern the difference between the wall that was not painted to the newly painted wall.

Great service.

Nothing was a problem to Peter, and he just provides the service and technical help that you need.

Peter at G. B was so helpful, I wanted to stain some mouldings, and needed to match timber beams in our house. The first staining was not correct, so I took the partially used can back and he kept adding stain until he got it right. Best help ever, can't go past this outlet.

Terrible service, needed help and guidence in the paint section completely ignored. Poor experience. Can't fail on the basics especially in these times.

Curtain people were great though.

Glad to see others have had a better experience. We waited 3 months for a final blind to be installed after is was mis-measured during the initial quote. January became Feb, then late March before it finally got installed. Action only seemed to happen when I chased things up. Plenty of excuses, terrible communication, no apology, and quite dismissive at the end when I complained I'd be going to another company to get the job finished.

Shame, because the blinds are actually good and we had planned to come in get a quote on wooden flooring.

Under new ownership. Has had a total revamp and expansion. Fabrics, curtains decor at front, paint and all sundry requirements now at the rear of the shop. Big parking area alongside building. Situated on Mill Lane opposite Countdown.

Another place i love to visit. Peter is such a pleasant person to deal with. A real problem solver and very knowledgeable about the products that they sell. In fact all the staff are wonderful to deal with.

Got sheer curtains made here after a disaster in another shop. Guthrie Bowron got them made very quickly and hung them and also fixed the tracks I had. All looking good now. They actually hang properly, wow, after my last experience. Friendly staff as well
