Collecting my order was straightforward. Shop seemed tidy but doesn't seem to sell much formal clothing anymore - just a more expensive version of other casual clothing stores

The young guy running the shop at 9am on Tuesday was very helpful and his customer service was excellent. He helped me find a blazer and a belt that I needed at short notice for work. I didn't catch his name, and I won't be able to stop by again to check. However, his manager should commend him for a job well done.

Very very poor customer service.they literally kick out customers when it’s still 5 minutes to close and they won’t let you try clothes. 0 out of 10.

Very friendly well.stocked shop. Reasonably priced with some good bargains if you willing to look and wait.

Prices needs to cheaper because the same quality clothes are way cheaper online websites, Chinese shops & other shops, from customer point of you, you need to shop around to save money, layaway (lay buy) and buy now pay later services are everywhere

Great place to get dripped out for Prom, Casual or business events. 2 years, 2 different suits from Hallenstein, many years not regretting after.

Hallenstein Brothers have some really great clothes and accessories. They send parcels overnight & are very quick to arrive considering all the courier delays & (as of this review - November 2021) being closer to Christmas time.

My first order of 4 items had the "Self Care Club" fruit themed t shirt missing, but Hallenstein Brothers quickly resolved this & a couple days later it arrived as a separate parcel. It had a couple printing error lines on the back of the shirt, but it's no biggie as I'll just use it as my gardening shirt) the other 3 items in my first order came just as described and I was very happy with them.

With my second order, I was notified that the "Absent End Game Sunglasses in BLACK" couldn't be fulfilled as it was out of stock - the online website must have not updated the stock levels in time before selling out in most of the physical stores. I was absolutely gutted because there weren't any sunglasses from other companies that looked even remotely similar or identical, & I loved the way they looked with the shirt that the male model was wearing. I wasn't happy at all, but "Charlotte" from the Hallenstein Brothers team was awesome & found a pair of the "Absent End Game Sunglasses in BLACK" from the Queen Street store, & sent them to me free of charge! Talk about customer service!

My only recommendation I'd make to Hallenstein Brothers for feedback, is to place any sunglasses in either a hard case OR place them inside a toughened cardboard box for protection so there's little-to-no-chance of damage in transit or upon arrival of the goods, as both sunglasses that I had ordered had no protection - it was a miracle they both arrived in one piece, but this may not be the case (excuse the pun) next time.

Overall, excellent customer service with neat clothes & accessories at very reasonable prices. Hard cases or cardboard boxes for sunglasses should be implemented though.

I'm ecstatic that Hallenstein Brothers sent me the "Absent End Game sunglasses in BLACK" when all hope was lost of ever having them. Thanks so much to Charlotte and the team at Hallenstein Brothers for finding a pair and sending them to me free of charge. I know it's just a pair of sunglasses to some people, but they bring me so much joy & happiness.

So it's suddenly okay for them to misuse your cellphone number for advertising.

Great staff and always good to go when they have a sale. Have added a barber which is a nice touch.

Worst clothing store ever. Bought a Black trouser. And got dull within less than a month. The conclusion is: it is expensive and dull and boring and not worth it

This store has a wide range of cool clothes! The clothing is very good quality and great value. I highly recommend this store for anyone looking for a great purchase.

The service was very good. However, I could not find the jeans or Chinos that I wanted to buy as the store seemed to have only ones with very tight legs.

I’m a loyal client for many years I buy a lot of cloths for donation daily including today! It saddens me how the staff changing the price based on profiling sometimes giving discount sometimes not. I asked nicely few times to check my acccount because I’m buying in bulk and always get discount.
The manager there claimed he is not and came to staff and prevented him from checking my account. I ended up buying donation cloths full price and he never even added the sale to my account and asked my details.
I’ll think 5 times before walking in again. Sad such great product and company but Unwelcoming staff.

In the end they never even asked for any of my details to see who I was OR adding this sale to my account for ref.

I understand the city is different but no reason to treat clients like they did.

Was welcomed on walking in, and all smiles from staff. Went in for a suit for a wedding, I have no idea what's good for it. Shout out to James for helping us get the best suit.

Went in today, and decided to go in totally invisible, as I wondered around the store for a good half hour, with no one approaching me, EVER. I was never acknowledged while in there, but being over 50, I was getting plenty of looks, like "what the hell are you doing in here", ESPECIALLY from an extremely unfriendly looking trans dude, just constantly glared at me. Even though I live 8 minutes away, I'll stick to Sylvia Park where they smile and talk to me, while I give them my hard earned cash, pretty much since Hallensteins has been in business.

You reach a certain age and you become invisible in this sort of place.
The young lady was polite and helpful when I finally got her attention.
