We were lucky enough to find Mark's business online for a Building Inspection on a house we were about to buy. The house was a huge investment for us, so we wanted to make sure that the building was perfect and there were no hidden issues.
Before calling Mark we have made a couple of online quotes that were a bit cheaper, but not necessarily better. When we called Mark he inspired trust from the very first call. He was very knowledgeable, and we knew there that he was the right person for the job.

The communication was great. He let us know when the appointment would be done, confirmed via email every step of the way, gave us a call when finished and sent the report on the same day with a wealth of details. It's very rare to find business like this nowadays.

Mark is an absolute professional. Very thorough, explains things well and certainly gives you the confidence (or not!) whether you should pursue a home after one of his inspections. As a Mortgage Broker I come across a lot of home inspections, none are to the same standard as Mark's.

A friend of mine had used Mark / Harbour Home Inspections several times over the years and who sang their praise, got me on to Mark. The house I ending up buying looked very good in a report by another company commissioned by the seller but my wife insisted I got an independent report from Mark. It was lucky I did as I would never heard the end of it! The place had a large amount of rot to the floor beams under the shower and issues where the garage that had been dug out more and altered. Marks report was extremely thorough and easy to understand and not only did he find the floor rot missed early he warned me of the serious issues with the garage.

With the report I was able to get the seller to repair the shower floor beams and I also got $10K reduced off the price for the garage issues.

I would not hesitate recommending anyone to use Mark. His report was fantastic and so was his after inspection assistance with dealing with the issues found in the report.

We have used Harbour Home Inspections for several home inspections so far and would not use anyone else. We have used other companies in the past but Harbour Home Inspections reports are more detailed and easier to understand. Mark has a great depth of knowledge and his reports and communications are outstanding. And it is very beneficial to talk directly to Mark as he always calls us the day of the inspection to talk it through and explain the issues.
