Harbourside Ocean Bar Grill

We have just had the most exquisite experience at Harbourside tonight. Starting with a Mexican mistress margarita and a mocktail Harbourside summertime, both were delicious. The scallop starter and pāua toastie, looked stunning and were delicious. Our mains the fish pie and deep sea fish were delicious. Then the dessert, so beautifully presented, Bitter chocolate ganache, with sorbet and a custard which was an excellent foil for the richness of the ganache. The petit fours were also a delight. Well thought out wine list. Highly recommend this restaurant. Lovely staff and great views.

Staff were so nice and food was amazing! Recommend getting a table outside by the water other than that we had a great experience

Fantastic place for a lovely lunch or dinner whether it is a special occasion or you want to spoil yourself! Beautiful balcony overlooking the Harbour. Food is always immaculate.

Normally the best food but this time at the charity event, very bland and tasteless, perhaps due the the amount of guests seated for dinner at the same time, however, graciously saved by the incredible managers and wait/service/bar staff who carried the event magnificently, not daunted by the food this time, will most likely be back to try again for the next round,

Fantastic restaurant at the heart of the City. Good food, very good wines. Nice ambiance and the big plus is the way Aki took care of us from the beginning to the end, being so nice, welcoming and with good advice.

A great city venue offering a menu, I could eat from regularly and happily. Meals are full of flavour and service polite, efficient and friendly. Loved the whole night.

My partner and I went here to celebrate a major personal event, and we had an absolutely lovely time. Merryn was our server, and she made the night magical. She was very professional, engaging, and was very knowledgeable. Thank you for the experience!

Very disappointing. Could’ve put 0 star if possible. We booked a table at 10pm from website, we arrive 10 minutes late which it was our fault but terrible thing happens here. Their last order was at 10pm. When we went there they said the kitchen is already closed. If there are closing kitchen at 10pm, don’t let us book at 10pm. Also they could’ve told us earlier about the time kitchen close but they just call us at 9: 20pm on that day (we couldn’t take this call) VERY LAST MOMENT. I am never gonna come back here. What a shame!

I would not recommend visiting Harbourside. Service was terrible and food was average. When asked to sit at a particular table, we were made to feel as though we were inconveniences. Ordered a steak, it came out with the wrong sides. The steak was ordered medium/well - specifically for a pregnant person. The steak came out rare. We told the waiter about how the steak was rare, and instead of apologizing and offering to cook the steak more, the waitress argued and insisted the steak was medium BEFORE even looking at the steak herself. I had high expectations of this place but i will not be coming back

We enjoy coming here and have visited a few times. Always excellent service. Their best dishes, in my opinion, is the seafood. Superb settings and ambient. Highly recommended!

Usually have great reviews about this place but today was an exception. My steak was served cold and waitress was not being genuine. I have been here since 2016 and I must say service and new staffs are not on the par. This is very disappointing.

Went for a friend's 40th birthday. Started with some excellent cocktails in the bar.
Possibly the best sashimi I've ever had. Very good oysters we had 3 ways.
My friends opted for seafood mains and said they were excellent.
My duck was very good, but the breeast a little overcooked without the fat being rendered down.
Service was a little slow, we sat with empty plates for quite a while and the waitress forgot about the last of the white wine.
That didn't detract from an excellent night.

We made a booking here on Tuesdays last week for the coming Saturday. It was confirmed and the restaurant calls on Saturday a few hours before the booking mentioning their kitchen closes earlier than our booking time and if we can come 1 and half hours earlier. Obviously we couldn't change our plans last minute so had to find a another restaurant to attend. Which was almost impossible last minute on a Saturday afternoon for that night. Update your website booking times.

Food was divine. Unfortunately our server stuffed up every order we gave her. Ruined what could have been a great lunch. We got so frustrated that we left early.
