Disappointing. The store seems empty and the choice of fabrics appeared a lot less than on previous visits

Before you start reading what I wrote on my review dated of a month ago, today is 28/12/2021 I called Harvey Furnishing asking for an ETA on my curtains and they have no idea delivery date. They actually delivered, however the blockout curtain does not match trail. During installation they promised the new one for two weeks later, today is the forth week and nothing. Keep reading the rest of the review please.

Not a very good experience so far. Still waiting for my blinders to be installed with a 4 weeks delay from what was agreed on contract. However they are very fast when it comes about charging you or requesting payment.
Installation scheduled to this Saturday, I will come back to talk about product quality after and if they actually install. I'm not confident it is happening though.

Almost 6 months later they finally finished install on 09-feb/2022, however, no stress free. We had to go on store and complain, call several times customer service, and after we told then we were consulting a lawyer, they finally installed the last part of the curtains. I would give 0 stars to this guys, but it is not possible unfortunately.

PS: we posted comments on their instagram, however as it is a negative review they deleted and blocked us.

The worst curtain store in Auckland. The people here do not know the meaning of the word "Professionalism".

I just visited this store to get a quote for my house. The sales person Dipak was not at all interested to help. He doesn’t want to explain the different fabric and has no idea of the products. Not sure why they would employee someone who is not willing to work.

Buying curtains and blinds with Harvey Furnishings was my greatest regret. When I signed the contract and payed 50% it stated the current delivery time was 4-5 weeks, of course, they used COVID as an excuse to say they would delivery from 5-6 weeks. Tomorrow I will complete 8 weeks waiting for blinds for my house. They are unfriendly once you sign a contract and they will not get in touch with you if you don't chaise them. I would never ever buy again at Harvey Furnishings.

After a terrible experience with another company, we decided to go with HF for the rest of the house. The curtains and blinds look amazing and the service has also been excellent. Every staff member we encountered was efficient and professional. 10/10 recommend.

A little belated review (from events of last year). Down with the customer service at this place. Spent around 2 hours over 2 visits explaining my requirements to the lady staff there. The order was for TWO curtains. After months of wait for the fabric to come from abroad and curtains be made, we were horrified to see only ONE curtain was produced. The lady who looked after us was very rude and blamed it all on us (clearly 2 hours of explanation was not enough!). Had to pay DOUBLE of our budget and wait ANOTHER 2 months for the fabric to come from abroad and curtains be made.

Good variety of product - hardware, as well as soft furnishings, and the staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Harvey Furnishings made up an odd size venetian blind for us in late January 2021. The cost was $100-00 less than another quote we got and the blind was made within the 7 day time frame. The opposition quoted 4 weeks to make and deliver. The aluminum blind was exactly as we ordered and came well packed with all the sundries to hang it. Great experience from beginning to end.

A well appointed shop with everything you need for curtaining in your home. We were looking for a specific curtain rail holder, and after looking in several shops, decided to see if Harvey Furnishings would have them, yes! Thankfully this was our last stop, next time it will be the first stop!

The only place in Auckland where you can still get fittings for older blind and curtain products.

Got nothing more than a hello when we have thousands to spend on custom curtains. We were the only ones in the store and the staff had no interest in helping us. Will be taking my money elsewhere.

My first choice store for bedding, cushions and accessories. Amazing range of styles, colour and fabrics.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but the staff here would rather talk amongst themselves rather than assist my wife and I. Walked frantically around the store looking for an item they said they stocked online, couldn't find it, and wasn't offered any help whatsoever. Would rather spend my money elsewhere quite frankly. Perhaps they are racist and dont want to help someone who doesn't look kiwi/European.a real shame

Dianne at the Glenfield branch serviced me, she was so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and I would go back to her again.
Having grown up in Remuera my mother always shopped at Harvey’s, Upland Rd and when I started home making I continued. This time as I now live in North Auckland I really shopped around and end up going back to Harvey furnishing. Thank you Dianne

I had two Roman blinds made. On install they sat longer than the window sill and we asked for them to sit on the sill. We showed them other blinds that we had, one was fast to wind and one that was slow. We asked for our new ones fast. They gave us slow but had no other options but they never discussed this with us and I had to call to ask about. We asked for sliver pull chains and the gave us white plastic. They said they would sort but over a week and I had to follow up and have been told a week to get fixed. Overall lots of errors and not really doing much to say sorry or take ownership and fix. Not very happy.

An update. One week later was the earliest they could come to change the incorrect pull chains. On the day after waiting around for one hour and not having them turn up I called them to find their installer is sick but they did not think about contacting me. Just to make it worse I was told someone would have to call me back later this avo to sort a new time. I would think they want to sort the issue sooner.

So many great fabric options & Diane was a star! Talk about take the pain out of curtain making! She was fantastic & couldn't do enough for me.all with a smile on her face.

This shop was great. The staff here are great and will stay with you and help pick out the best curtains for you.

Honestly, the Staff at Link Drive are the best. They have no qualms about going the extra mile to make sure that you are completely happy with your impending decision/purchase.

Central location is great as well

They are friendly, helpful, my ready mades were a great price and good quality. My roman blind is awesome. Highly recommended.
