39We were previously regular customers at your Three Kings branch until they closed and moved to Mt. Wellington. We travelled to shop there this morning for the first time and what a disappointment. Staff were helpful however but the lack of stock and no colour was the first impression upon entering the store. I cannot imagine returning to the store unless there is a dramatic improvement in stock and selection levels.
Not enough specials in curtains, but then no curtain tracks were on special either. Therefore, not a good Sale
My wife had a poor experience here. Ended up ordering online since the first consignment was incorrect
It took 20 months for Harvey Furnishings to rectify a defect with the installation of drapes in one bedroom.
This is after the problem I had with the making and installation of the main bedrooms.
Went from a 2 to 4 week wait, to a 10 week wait only to receive the wrong curtains and wrong sizes, and having to have new walls restopped and painted. No communication, no follow up. Shambles.
Poor communication, wrong measurements, long delay for receiving the order, and finally demanding customer to pay 50% of the remaining balance before delivering the order are the reasons for giving this rating to Harveys Furnishings.
I will not definitely come back to this business again as this one was already a 3.5 months waiting time for sheers only, and delivery was completed after numerous phone calls from myself.

Harvey furnishings are the worst ever business I have ever seen in all across New Zealand ever!
I have ordered a 60*60cm roller blind and it is now more than three months they have not installed it. Do you believe that!
I just regret why I didn't buy an install it all by myself. It would be at least half of the price and a 2hours job max.
They have scheduled an installer two times with the latest to be for today which did not show up both times.they even did not call me. After too many follow ups and calls they just told me they cannot install it today.
I asked them to cancel my order because I’m totally disappointed and asked them to refund and they simply said they can only refund 50% of the costs!
It is totally unbelievable!
Never do business with these guys, NEVER!
Your young female shop assistance at your Whangarei Branch exceeded my expectation and assisted beyond what was necessary. I was so pleased with your drape quality that I bought further product for my lounge.
I am appalled at the service received so far. Purchased custom made curtains on the first week of November and was told 6-8 week wait to receive them. Several delays, zero communication or accountability, curtains made to incorrect length, manager unresponsive and unbothered to rectify the situation and ignores emails. We are now sitting at 13 weeks since placing the order and no idea of when to expect the final product. Would never use Harvey's again.
UPDATE: Week 15 and curtains were not made to correct measurements again. Curtains have to be redone yet again and am told it will take another week to sort. Manager still unresponsive and ignoring emails
UPDATE 2.0: I have now received correct length curtains and partial refund was processed as compensation for all the muck around
Absolutely a disaster experience. We used them once 5 years ago, was very good, so for our new house, we do a set of sheer & curtain for living lounge and master bedroom, 7 pieces in total. Sales lady came to make measurement, she was professional. Stated it would be finished in 10-12 weeks, finally needed to wait for 18 weeks, we understand covid lockdown. First installation, 2 pieces were not ready, 2 pieces were too long, 2 pieces were too short, only 1 was installed. Came back 2 weeks later, those were too long became too short…too short became too long. Turned out it was a 5-time installation to complete, delayed for another month. Poor communication between office & factory. Those in the office did not pick up phone calls, or “she is in a meeting”, never return call. Thought we should escalate to the manager, never responds to email or phone calls! Installer Leo is fantastic but oh well. Will never use them again!
Apparently HARVEY FURNISHINGS deleted my review, so I will write again EVERY SINGLE DAY until I get my curtains which unfortunately I have already paid for! I paid and order on the 22 September 2021, today is 21 January 2022 and I still dont have my blockout curtains! When the installation person come, he said the hanger were wrong, and he was not going to install my curtains, so, I am still waiting for my curtains. Edited: today is 30 January and I am still waiting for my curtains. I paid almost 10 thousand dollars in curtains and Venetian from Harvey Furnishings and I wish I had gone to any other place. This store is a joke. 18 weeks waiting for curtains.
Finally got called and money back. But sorry, they really need to lift up their game.

No reply on emails, no one answered the phone nor checking the voicemail, no news about the refund they supposed to paid back to me (as I have paid in store following the suggestion from the staff). Frustrating.
The staff member we spoke to did6seem to know anything. We stood around waiting, then looked at product ourselves. It's not like it used to be. Stock low.

I ordered X2 black cushion covers, and one arrived in grey. It's still very nice, and the curtains are wonderful, but it would have been nice to receive both cushion covers in the specified colour. One also arrived with an anti-theft ink alarm thing still attached.

Had a chase almost every day for a week to get reciept emailed to me. Issue with one of the blinds being made to incorrect length, returned and again had to chase them for a week to get an update in when it would be fixed. Frustrating service.b
