We made a deal on 30/07 for a couch for 2800 and 300 for protection all inclusive meaning delivery fees. The next day we went in and they dishonoured a deal because we had no written quote from them! We spoke to the manager n he simply said they cannot honour the deal! Guys next time you go to this store, DO NOT TRUST THEM! Have your quote written down if you are closing a deal! Pathetic service and lost a customer only for $150! It matters to us but i dont think this would have matter to so called business Harvery norman

Super happy with the help I received to buy a new TV and stand. Rob went out of his way to keep things simple and easy for me, explained some options and was very friendly and personable.

We have a great experience with Harvey Norman Wairau. The sales team were helpful in store. We bought whiteware and our move in date got delayed. No issue for Harvey Norman holding the product for us, have made it very easy. Have not had as good experience with another whiteware purchase from a competitor down the road.

Had a lovely experience today with Conan, who helped my partner and I with buying a new washer and dryer combo. He was really good at explaining the features and efficiency of the machines he showed us and helped us find the perfect ones for our needs. Conan then helped us choose a new TV, and got all the finance sorted with no troubles at all. I don't usually choose Harvey Norman for shopping but I'm really pleased with the service today!

Absolutely disappointed with the purchase from Harvey Norman. Bought 6 dining chairs and other furniture on 7th of March, wasn't made aware that the dining chairs were not in stock. We've been told that they would be available in June. Ok, got a call in June saying that the chairs won't be available until mid July. Fine, got another call from them today (29 June) advising the chairs are still in China! They are not even on the sea freight yet! It would be another 2 months or even longer before they finally get here. Seriously, think twice and confirm stock availability before purchasing from them.

Horrible customer service, been a customer for years but recently we purchased appliances from there and everything was absolutely rubbish! When we mentioned to staff about the quality they just ignored us! Don’t waste your money and time in Harvey Norman Wairau! Manager at customer service extremely rude and unprofessional!

Went in to buy a vacuum cleaner and a wonderful experience with Manpreet who looked after me very well, she was very professional and helpful all the while she had had just learnt of a tragedy in her family. She deserves a bonus.

Took half an hour to refund. Not friendly. Not service. Service department was friendly. And the manager was also friendly. Staff were not. I could have bought more, but no one attended. Heaps of staff doing nothing.

Price match not good. Selling display product as clearance but the price is same as the normal price at other stores. Inconsistent customer servicing.

Used the contactless click and collect which was super easy, the item was ready to pick up the next day. Hassle free, and no problems.

Went in to buy a bed. No one wanted to serve me even though it was a quiet Sunday morning. After walking around for a few mins, the young fella who eventually came up seemed uninterested in making a sale (I commend him for making the effort, cant say the same for the others who would rather stare at me). I left and bought a bed up the road from one of the many other bed stores, where the staff were actually helpful and friendly.

Bought a stainless steel Panasonic Inverter Microwave, the 2nd unit in 3 years, the first failed electrically, the 2nd one had a 2 year warranty had what they called a maintenance fault causing a non-repairable corrosion on one of 4 panels (the 3 panels are in pristine condition without any hint of corrosion). This after over a years use and obviously a paint failure locally but distributed evenly throughout only on that one panel.

Tried to slapped us with a $45 inspection fee, which Harvey Norman choose to waive but left us basically with nothing. Completely disappointed with both Panasonic and Harvey Norman. Warranty and assurances are completely a myth, when there's a product failure you're on your own.

Large format store with great range of homeware with Kiwi and Aussie product range. Helpful, non-pushy sales team. Good parking
