Very poor prices for scrap. Only $2.90 for 58 kilos. The other scrap dealers pay many times more.

At Hayes Metals customers are treated in a special and friendly way. I heard customers saying they were sent by friends and families to Hayes Metals simply because they were happy with the service.
We sold 1 truck load of metal steel, roof iron, rebars, metal sheet, 900ish Kg almost a tone and they are paying less than 50 bucks for the truck load, hardly imagine it is the best price in Auckland plus directly to smelter.
Other places offering like 180~250 per ton, anyway not selling metal to this shop again.
Closed on long weekends, been hanging around waiting for it to open, but it's not going to open and no signage is available to tell me it's closed
